The three hanging straps are rivetted to the inside leather belt which then has metalic cloth sewn down overtop to give the stripped effect. For the straps to hang down, the belt buckle is then upside down and cannot be simply rotated around because it is a hook clasp on the back. Some folks think the spelling on the buckle is wrong (says Y and not a clear and distinct V in Vinces). That could be true if the manufacturer is not familiar with Latin, or simply a case that the font used for the writing has lazy characters. The upside down straps is the key issue.
