Highly Unreliable: Not Recommended for Long-Term Use
f you're considering purchasing this Pyle 400W 4-channel amplifier, there are some crucial factors to consider based on recent customer reviews. Many users report that the product does not meet its advertised specifications, with some experiencing significantly lower power output than claimed, which affects sound quality and overall performance. Several customers also mention that the Bluetooth feature often fails within a few weeks or months, rendering the device nearly unusable for wireless streaming. A common complaint is that the amplifier is unreliable, with instances of it malfunctioning, overheating, or even catching fire, especially when installed in environments like boats. The quality control appears inconsistent, and many users have experienced units that stop working prematurely. . This amplifier may not be a reliable choice for those seeking durable, high-performance audio equipment. If you need a dependable device for serious use, it might be better to explore other brands with better reviews for quality and customer service. However, if your needs are casual or temporary, and you're willing to accept the risk of potential failure, this product could serve as a budget-friendly option. But overall, the consensus leans toward caution: likely no for those who prioritize reliability and performance, but maybe for casual, short-term use.

Great product
Great amplifier for outdoor use! I have mine powering two kicker 6” tower speakers and the sound is amazing. The built in Bluetooth is great and connects so fast!

easy install
Installation was quite simple since I already had 12v power, ground and remote wiring installed for a subwoofer amp that was mounted next to this amp. The amp is relatively small, and that was nice. Plenty of mounting options available to squeeze it into. I chose this 4-channel amp to run the speakers in our boat which are two 6" speakers in the bow, two 6x9's at the helm, two 8" in the cabin and two 6" on the stern at the rear swim deck. Each set of speakers were wired to a different channel on the amp Bow#1, Helm#2, Cabin#3, Stern#4. Once power and grounds were connected, and RCA inputs were installed from the amp to the stereo, the amp powered up and operated fine. Sound was good. With the amp dials on max, sound output is sufficient enough to keep my stereo volume around 1/2 and it is plenty loud for us. I ordered the bluetooth version of this amp, and found that it also works well. If I turn the stereo off, I can connect my iphone via bluetooth directly to the amp, and play music/adjust the volume via my phone, so that works well for any friends/family that might want to jump in the boat and play their own music playlist, without physically having to connect to the stereo or deal with any wiring. So technicially, you dont even need a stereo in the boat. If I didnt already have the sub amp installed, I would have bought a 5 channel version of this, and hooked the sub to the 5th channel. We listen to the radio quite a bit, and dont have great cell service while on the water, so for us, the amp/stereo combo works best. You can mount this amp anywhere in the boat out of sight, and use your phone as your radio. Makes for less wiring, which is always nice. With the bluetooth connection feature and small size, this would also be a great amp for your golf cart or UTV/ATV. For the price, I think it's a win on all levels.

The amp was DOA. Never powered up. Remote terminal was shorted internally.
This Pyle amp was purchased for installation on my motorcycle. The unit never powered on. The remote terminal is shorted internally. I waited longer than 30 days after purchase to install it, so there is no refund. Buyers, when you get an amp, make sure to test it right away. Many of these amps are dead on arrival.

Good amp, crap Bluetooth.
Good amp for the price, but the built-in Bluetooth functionality could be a lot better. The built-in Bluetooth receiver, when connected to a device (such as my iPhone or Nexus 7) and that device has an audio session open, emits very audible electronic interference noise (static/buzzing) through the connected speakers. It's a similar sound to that produced through headphones from cheap on-board audio on PC motherboards. Additionally, whenever a connected device starts or ends an audio session, the speakers produce a loud pop/click. Line-in has no such noise issues. With just line-in, the amp works great. The quality of the built-in receiver rivals that of the 1$ USB-powered Bluetooth receiver I purchased on eBay, i.e, absolute crap! The $1 receiver also adds noise to the line-out signal. I was hoping the built-in receiver on this product would be better. Otherwise, I would have purchased a cheaper amp with only line-in and add my own Bluetooth receiver.

Well built and works great.
I bought this for my pontoon boat because I got tired of always trying to tune in a radio station. It has plenty of power for four speakers and the bluetooth works great. Installation is fairly easy depending on the wiring in your boat. Mine has plenty of electronic features so it was a chore figuring out what power cable to use and then tying in to the speakers so I could still have the radio work as well. It does not include a remote start switch so I found it easier to run to Walmart and buy a waterproof on/off switch to add to my instrument cluster. Now I just tune my phone or tablet to Pandora, flip a switch and I have static free music. The unit is well built and I would recommend it for most cars or boats.

Non water proof, weak Bluetooth, junk
I have had 2 , the newest one only lasted 2 months. Also I bought the Amazon warranty, the warranty company will not replace it because it should be covered by the manufactures because it’s only 2 months old lol. Contacting the manufacturer is a nightmare . I would say it’s not water proof. Not even water resistant . Dry place with low humidity still didn’t keep it around very long . Buy a better brand

WOW! Incredible performance for such an affordable amp! Bluetooth feature pairs fast & works perfect with Samsung Galaxy S4/S5/S6 & Note 4 to approx. 30ft. from amp. Speaker line levels fairly quick to get dialed in. Installed in a Polaris ACE SxS with two 6.5" 200watt marine speakers & two 8" 400watt marine subs. Sound is so much clearer & the subs pump pretty good with this amp! Using with a good high power head unit will make all the difference in the sound quality. Make sure all wiring is large enough to get the best performance from the amp. Going to order another just for the subs!

Betreibe den Verstärker standalone, also ohne vorgeschaltetes Radio bzw.
