After going through a lot of reviews of sandwich makers, I zeroed in on this. At the first place, the price seems to be a bit expensive but this factor is not going to disappoint you once you start using the same. I badly needed a sturdy product having ample space inside for keeping proper sandwich bread. Looking into the size and built quality, I put my research to an end and ordered it. The product was delivered one day later than the expected delivery time, which didn't bother me much. Sandwich maker was intact and my first reaction after opening it from the box was that the product is worth the money that is being charged. Next comes to real test of the equipment. It is quite fast in heating and the sandwich was ready in a minute or so. So far so good. Look-wise it's classy and enhances the appearance of kitchen. A must have equipment in the kitchen for all those who love sandwiches and grilled stuff.

Its an amazing product. Good quality and extremely useful. Made burger patties on the grill and then grilled the assembled burger too. Patties turned out really nice. Weren't dry at all. Highly recommend this product

No offense, Borosil is a reputed company and this product made in China, but if we ignore this issue, this is a very good product overall. Nice build quality and metalic finish enhanced its look more aggressive. This is for household purpose, not ment for industrial purpose, so use wisely. 180 degree opening also an useful thing. Pre hit time max 10 sec, though borosil mentioned it atleast 5 min, don't know why, but because of its 2000 wt and I'm also plug this into a 16 amp plug so no issue for me, also my electric power is good and no voltage issue. So for my above mentioned sandwich (grilled cheese veg sandwich) set the nob between light and dark, pre hit time 5 sec, grill time 1 min, use butter cote on plate for better result.

I preheated this for 5 minutes. Then kept the cheese Toast for another 5 more minutes. Heat was kept near dark but not fully dark. The bread was not toasted and it was still raw. So I kept it for 5 more minutes and then took out it was still raw with slight toast. When I pull up the handle the handle was broken. I first suspected it as a use piece because it had fingerprints all over the box. The box was broken and it was kept outside my house and not delivered to my hands. Why is the company shipping used toasters rejected by some other customer? Is the company confident enough to assume that it can be passed on to somebody without actually repairing it. Even if they repair it cannot be considered as a new piece and it should be sold as a used piece only. I paid the price for a new sandwich maker and this kind of standard is unacceptable. I wanted to upgrade from Murphy Richards and Philips stand up toaster but this is of very poor quality.

We bought this as replacement for our old sandwich maker. Looks and feels sturdy. Have used it quite a few times now. The sandwiches come out nice looking and crispy on the outside. We also grilled some fish and it also was nice. Pros: Build quality looks good. Easy to use. Sandwiches and other grilled items work well. Pretty large, you can make 2 sandwiches with the largest sized bread. Cons: Difficult to clean, cannot takeout the grill plate. Heat goes to the outer body so you have to handle it carefully. Also was worried if the wire touches the outer body whether it will get damaged.
