These are so good! Vibrant colors, easy to use, don’t break easily, came with two different shape/sized paint brushes. I bought to use different colors for eyeblack on my kids for baseball season. They are somehow both smudge proof and easily removable like magic! Best of both worlds. Hopefully they don’t dry out and last for us to use for Halloween too! We love them so much

I bought these for my 7 year old, just to play with. I'm impressed with the quality! They go on easily, the colors are very bright, easy to wash off (if you don't leave it on too long- I will say that one time she didn't wash it off very well before going to bed and you could see a faint tint on her skin for a day or two- but if you don't sleep with it on, it comes right off. So don't do that and you'll be fine. Lol). She loves them, and they keep her busy! The reviews that say it's difficult to do fine details are correct, since they are so blunt, but you could probably use a small brush if you were doing something that needed fine details. For our purposes, they are perfect. Definitely a great product, especially considering the price. Once she uses them up, I'll probably purchase again.

Really happy with these face paint crayons. My biggest concern was irritating skin and being tough to wash off. Did not irritate skin and removed very easily with wet wipe or makeup removing wipe. Used for Halloween costumes and lasted fine for few hours.

I have played around with face paint for my small children (4 and 6) in the past, and I've worked with the sponges and the brushes...yada yada. It was, frankly, a pain, and hard to get good at when you are just goofing around. I wanted something with better color (more vibrant) and easier to use. I can't believe how wonderful these are. My kids actually asked if they could do each others' faces (immediately upon opening these), and their drawings were actually wonderful, and easy to get off with a touch of soap and water. I was very pleased with the vibrant colors, and that the "crayons" actually twist up to give you more product than you see upon opening them. One note: The silver is not very visible. If you are buying it just for the silver or if the silver is important, you should probably get something else, or get just a silver separately if you really need it. It's not critical for us, so my kids just call it "adding sparkle" (aka, I can't see it, but they're happy, so I'm happy).

These makeup crayons are super easy to use and have great vibrant color. They wash off easily - and if a 6 month old grabs your face for smooches, it’ll also rub off! Lol, it was worth it. Anyway, I was very happy with these - used in 100 degree weather and the colors did not streak or run with the sweating that was going on. Highly recommend!

These are fun and easy to use for any age.

These were really fun and I liked that it was less likely to make a mess. They do kind of drag on the skin, but it helps if you get it just a little wet then it glides more smoothly. It’s also difficult to do any detailed designs since it’s basically like painting with a giant crayon. The colors were pretty good, but gold and silver barely show up as anything but a slight sparkle. They’re really easy to clean off with a baby wipe or soap and water, but it does also come off easily on hands and clothes when your kid goes to rub their eyes or give you a hug. I ended up going with a different set of face paint so it would at least last the few hours we’d be trick or treating. My son has sensitive skin and these didn’t give him any problems. Overall these will be fun as an activity every once in a while and then cleaned off when we’re done playing with them. Not great for long-lasting wear.

I had never used a facepaint crayon until I got these, but I was not enjoying the experience of applying the paint with a brush, cleaning the brush constantly, and generally making a mess. These crayons are encased in plastic and you twist the top to expose more of the crayon when it gets short. I haven't used them very much so I don't know how long they will last, but so far I really like them. They are much less messy, and very easy to apply. In this particular package, I found that the silver color doesn't show up very well on the face, but maybe it would work better as a topcoat over another color (I haven't tried that yet). The other colors all show up well on the face.
