it works like it should

The pump itself is really quiet, but the intake guard vibrates very loudly.

works well not loud at all. but I had 2 made for out side that are very loud. you can tell by the cord.

It seems to be hit or miss whether you get a quiet one. I have had four of these in different sizes. 2 of the four were nearly silent, and the other two were very loud.

I’ve come back to downgrade my review several times. It gets louder every month. My pump is only three months old and it’s already by far the loudest pump I’ve ever owned. It wouldn't be so aggravating if they didn’t call it and advertise it as “silent”. The pump is far from silent. I can hear the constant motor sound all the way in my bedroom. It pushes a lot of water but for the money, this thing should not be making this much noise. I’d advise to stay clear of this pump.

I dont know whats going on with the other reviewer, but its quiet. The only time its noisy is if its touching the wall of the tank. I've owned a couple sicce pumps. They're high quality and never failed me (1yr).

I have a rio 2100 and another pump I don't know the brand ofHave them both running and still when i turn on the Sicce Syncra 3.5 its about 3-5 times louder, more vibrationof course i thought this is just my pumpso i exchange for a new onesame thingthis thing is too loud

shipped fairly quickly replaces older one that broke use in Red sea system and has helped restore theclean tank again
