weighs in at 256 pages...?
It is definitely not "300 plus pages", the grand total from covering to cover only being 256.But then again I am not sure what edition I've been delivered, because the cover page is different from the one shown. So just a heads up on this listing. That said, it seems to be packed full of information for such a small book. I'm going to Mex in a week, will post a review after my trip as to how good it is in the field.

Good Overall
Not in depth but does list the more major breaks with good coverage overall. Talk to locals and check the krags in between. Sometimes you luck out. Good book to take along for your travels though.

Not Worth It
This book is not very useful. It is so small. You can get more information in a few minutes on the internet.

Tiny Wave Book
This book is tiny. About 3" by 2". Despite that, it's fairly informative and provides details on surfing areas that I hope will be useful.

Wave-Finder Surf Guide Mexico
I was surprised that the book is so tiny. It surely did not have the quantity of pages advertised in the information about the book (about half of what it says). You are probably better off with the old Surf Report series than with this guide. Yet, it is a lot smaller (fits in the palm of your hand) and a lot lighter to carry around. It did get to mymailbox in record time. Nos vemos en el agua! Cowabunga!

Extremely informative, and detailed
I feel that this is not getting accurate ratings. The major knock on this book is that it is too small. When was the last time you saw a surfer carrying War & Peace or the Encyclopedia Britannica to the beach... It is small for functionality, and the writing is great! Very informative, and really guided me through my fiesta south of the border! I hope to read more from author David Small in the future.
