Great choice, would choose over Dyson
Loved this vacuum. We were looking for a good but affordable option and honestly did not regret the purchase. Love that we do not have to hold on to power button like the Dyson and that it was about half the price. I will say the Dyson might have a bit more suction but not enough for the hug price difference and this vacuum is much lighter and easier to maneuver. It is durable and has withstand many falls and even cracks. Unfortunately after being dropped too many times by the kids I will need to purchase a new one, but I am glad it has lasted this long. We purchased it in 2021.

This works pretty well. Buy a second battery.
I love my wife. I hated to see her with that crappy little vacuum that she uses. You know, the one that looks like someone rammed a stick through a Dustbuster? It didn't pick up very much, made a lot of noise and didn't seem that robust. We've already been through a few of them. I've also had to add a couple of electrical outlets to our home in order for her to use that joke vacuum, and she was already making noise about needing another one somewhere. So.... I did some research, and bought this as a Tyson alternative. It was delivered promptly, dangerously close to my wife's birthday (I know what you're thinking, and no way, just no way was that going to be a birthday present.) I put it together and gave it to Wifey, who seemed pleased at the suction power, the fact that she could vary it (But why? she asked), the lack of a cord and that the light on the power head that showed it didn't miss much dirt (mostly Yorkie bits, carried in from outside in her floor-length coat). About fifteen minutes later, the battery had died. At that point, we determined that the battery would last much longer if we reserved the max suction setting for those few areas in the house where we have rugs. The low setting worked just fine on the tile floors throughout our home. Armed with this information, the next time was a bit more successful, but there was still not battery power to get all the floors in the house done. The wall-hanger for this vacuum is great. There is a spot on top to charge a second battery. Armed with this information, we bought one. Now, between the moderation of suction power and the second battery, our floors get cleaned without any problems. The vacuum is easy to empty. There's a filter that will need cleaning inside the dust bin. It's easy to remove, and Tineco provides an attachment that sucks the dirt from the filter. The manufacturer gives you two filters, so you can one in the vac while you're using the vac to clean the other filter. If you go to the website, they'll give you yet another filter just for registering your purchase.

Uptdate to update—hate this vacuum now!…still?
Update to my Update: I emailed customer service in hopes for one last ditch effort- I wanted to love this vacuum still. I did receive a reply within 24 hours asking for the usual model #, proof of purchase date, a video of the issues, etc. In my haste and busy lifestyle I put that on my list of to-dos and didn’t earnestly get this done. I started a hunt for a new vacuum instead as I really needed one that did well on carpets as we have two rooms with thick carpet. I hade given up on this little stick gem. I say gave up, because the problem was really me, not the vacuum! The “battery” would die within 2 minutes of use, even when fully charged or even when the battey was changed out for a alternate battery. The red lights would flash and I assumed it was the vacuum was a dud. I thought I maintained it well- emptied the bin, flushed out clogs in the rollers or in the tubes, but I didn’t clean and wash the upper filter often. THAT was the issue! I sat down and found my manual that explained the error lights and shutting down could be from clogs and have nothing to do with the battery. I did a major cleaning, including washing the filters and leaving it off the charger for 24 hours for everything to dry and re-set and recharged her. Whatya know! She worked like new! I’m ashamed and pleased at the same time. I didn’t expect a clogged filter to behave like a failed battery. So if you’re having “charging” issues do a full maintenance and try again. It may not be your battery at all. This vacuum is great for my mostly tile and hardwood floors. It gets under furniture and tables very well. It’s good for quick spills and stairs. It does a good “once over” on carpets and rugs, but I’d still use a heavy duty vac for carpets for deep cleans and pet hair. I’m giving it 4 stars for the lack of deep carpet cleaning, but it’s not realistic to think a stick vacuum would perform the same. It is a good vacuum and I love having it plugged into it’s wall stand in the hallway where I need it both “out of the way, but always accessible.” Don’t give up too easily on this little vacuum. It’s powerful and reliable if you take care of it and follow the manual and maintain it adequately. Update: After having this for about six months, I hate this vacuum. I even bought a second battery for this so I could switch it out and keep going. As if! It lasts about 5-6 min on a full charge and when I go to switch out to the other battery, it’s never charged! The too sectioned of the charger has an extra port so you can charge the vacuum and the extra battery at the same time, but it doesn’t charge the top one. It’s like you have to charge the vacuum with the battery and then remember to switch out the battery and put the back up one in and charge it again. I don’t know why it can’t charge both at the same time! The tube often gets clogged and requires constant cleaning. I understand that vacuums need constant maintenance, but stopping 3 times for one room is excessive. I’ve begun to hate vacuuming because of the poor performance of this vacuum. For the very high price I expected it to work better. The extra battery was an additional small fortune. I might have well bought a dyson. I regret my purchase. I love my new vacuum!!! I especially love vacuuming my stairs. I’ve never had a stick vacuum and I must say I’ve been missing out! I love that my vacuum is hanging on my wall easily accessible and I don’t have to hunt for a plug and move the plug to every room. I LOVE that it is so light. I feel motivated to use it for the smallest messes because it’s so light and accessible. I confess…I’ve used it on my counters and dinning table to get crumbs with the handheld version. I mean why not? I bought the extra battery pack because I wanted the security of knowing I could keep going if I needed to, but surprisingly I have never used it! The battery lasts well enough to do my downstairs just fine, even on high. I use it every day to do a quick run around to get my entryway and kitchen and where the dogs come in from the doggie door. I do have one complaint though… whom ever designed this did NOT consider left handedness. It’s obnoxious that if I’m using my left hand to vacuum I keep turning it off. The, how-do-I-say, lever? keeps turning off because it’s designed to be held by a right-handed person. You have to be a left handed person to explain but you have to be conscious of the “on” lever when you’re using your left hand. I wish they had a design that would “latch” instead.

I purchased this product ten days ago, plus the hardwood/bare floor cleaner head to complement the carpet cleaner head that it comes with. Half of my home is hardwood or laminate flooring. I was very impressed with its cleaning power on the "Min" setting. It picked up dirt, dust, and lots of my dog's fur that my old corded Kenmore Intuition vacuum cleaner didn't touch. I got about 40 minutes of runtime from one battery. I only used the "Med" setting with the small head for cleaning the dog fur off of some living room Lazy Boy chairs, one of which is my dog's chair. The "Min" setting would have cleaned up all of the fur but it would have taken a few minutes longer. I read a lot of reviews that said you needed "Max" power for the vacuum to clean effectively. That was not my experience. By keeping the filters clean and emptying the dust bowl frequently, good suction was maintained, superior to my old corded vacuum cleaner. I ordered two spare batteries to add to the two batteries that come with the A11 Hero EX, based on those reviews. They will not be needed. I spent 40 minutes vacuuming the main floor today, plus the carpeted basement stairs. It was all done on one battery, and as I said, it picked up dirt and fur that my old corded vacuum did not. Examing the A11, you will note that it is superbly engineered. Much thought has gone into every detail of its design. I believe, based on my limited experience that those customers complaining of inadequate cleaning power, except when at the "Max" power setting, are just not following the instructions. If the pre-filter is allowed to clog up, suction, and hence cleaning effectiveness, is greatly reduced. To have the convenience of a cordless, lightweight vacuum cleaner, you do have to accept that you do need to keep the pre-filter clean. I use an old toothbrush to clean it off each time when I frequently empty the dust bowl to keep the A11 performing at its best. Check the cleaner head(s) as well to ensure that they are not clogged and remove wound-up pet fur on the carpet cleaner head. To me, these extra steps are well worth the effort to enjoy the convenience of this awesome cordless vacuum cleaner. If you do have bare or hardware floors, be sure to purchase the soft roller bare/hardwood floor cleaner head. It is much more effective at cleaning those surfaces than the included carpet cleaner head. I highly recommend this product. I will keep my old corded vacuum only to remind me of how much I hated it. It was heavy, awkward, and did not do a good job cleaning up pet fur. If you take care to read and follow the instructions, I assure you that you will be so very impressed by the performance and convenience of the Tineco A11 Hero EX.

I probably spent way too much time researching stick vacuums before purchasing this one, but there are many differences out there. I was really trying to avoid spending big bucks on the leading brand. I really like how this vacuum has 2 removable batteries, extending its run time. 1 battery would not be sufficient for a typical family house with multiple surfaces. I also really enjoy the wall mount, which beats most competitors and can also charge both batteries. I purchased the soft roller brush separately for our hard floors and light mats and it works excellent. In retrospect I should have just purchased the package that includes it originally. The main brush did a good enough job on hard floors, but the soft brush is quieter and more gentle on the flooring. It also doesn't "snow plow" debris like the main brush tends to do. Suction power seems to be very good with 2 settings. The locking trigger is really handy and also rare to find out there. The entire unit is very easy and light to maneuver. The cleaning and maintainence process can be a bit cumbersome. I find I often need to use my fingers to help empty the dust bin. The removable filter needs to be cleaned after every major use or weekly, but luckily there's a special filter cleaning attachment included that does this job effectively. The main gripe I have with this vacuum is, despite its impressive suction power, it does not suck up nearly as much dog hair as our previous corded vacuum. The main brush head definitely seems less robust with shorter bristles compared to our previous corded model, which I guess is to be expected when switching to cordless. It probably doesn't agitate the dog hair enough to suck it all up. No matter how many passes I do on max setting, there's still noticeable dog hair left on our large area rugs. If you have pet hair issues, you might want to consider other brands or models, but everything else I mentioned above is pretty hard to find elsewhere with regard to stick vacuums. In terms of overall value, considering cost comparison versus that other leading brand, I'm happy with this purchase. Just disappointed a bit with the pet hair performance. The wall mount, 2 batteries, and soft roller brush out weigh this pet hair issue though.

Lo único realmente decepcionante es que en México no se puedan conseguir baterias extra, de ahí en más el producto es excelente.

Most impressive on carpets and hard surfaces. The dust container is small. Not so good at edges adjacent to walls etc and the instructions are a tad bewildering at first glance. I still do not understand the logic of cleaning a filter using another filter hieever, overall it is a very impressive machine. Infinitely superior to our cumbersome, feeble Vax Blade which it supercedes.

I love this vacuum. It is lightweight, and the suction is great. It has many features that I love, such as the light on the floor bar, it is low enough to go under furniture and great to pull out at any time for a quick clean up plus the detachable handle to turn it into a hand vacuum is so handy for cleaning furniture. It is great to clean up cat hair with the smaller furniture attachment. The suction really picks up dust and debris on hard floors and works well really well on rugs too. With busy three and five year old granddaughters who love to make crafts it makes clean up a breeze. My son in law first purchased one at least six years ago and my children bought me one for Christmas about three years ago. I have since purchased two more ,one for a Christmas gift for one of my sons and just recently another as a birthday gift for another daughter. Recently the vacuum my son in law first bought was dropped and the closure on the dustbin was broken. I was able to buy a replacement from tineco which was delivered within three days. I highly recommend their products.
