leeks badly! Bought 2 in December and both failed after just a few connect disconnect cycles, causing a wide open loss of CO2. bought another in 2 in Feburary and one of them has failed in less than a month. Examined failure mode and found the pin with the small o-ring will fall out of place when disconnected causing the valve to stay open when disconnected. Today installed the last of the 4 disconnects I ordered. and due to their poor reliability I am ordering different band replace these poor quality units. Very frustrating, the leakage caused me to refill my CO2 tank UN-necessarily early 3 times. So these units cost me about $100 in lost CO2 over the last 2 months. I find I have to turn off the tank valve between uses and have installed and extra cut off valve as well on each of my two CO2 hoses. I do have gas disconnect from another manufacturer that has worked reliability on one hose for a year, I forget where I got that one. So I know that a 2 week average failure time is not so good when I typically use it only one day a week. I would avoid these low quality ball locks gas disconnects with their faulty valve design.

The gas connects seem good with a good price. My only comment is the center pin is clear plastic not stainless. I'm not sure this is a good or bad. It may be better to prevent bacteria but shorter on life but it is just a few bucks a connector.

We make our own seltzer water with a home made Co2 maker. We had one disconnect thing for about 20 years that finally gave up. We used the old one for thousands and thousands of bottles of seltzer water. These that come from China were lasting for maybe ten or 15 bottles and then the little pointy thing in the item would bend and the Co2 would come blasting out wasting the Co2. They would get returned and returned one after another. I now have one that has lasted through about 40 bottles and am holding my breath. Cheaply made but what else can I do. We need these to make our seltzer water.

The description states the quantity is 2 items. I only received a single gas connection. The item was damaged, extremely dirty and clearly used. I am returning for a refund.

The headline says it all. Another cheap piece of @%*(# to rip off people. No QC. Might as well buy a dozen so that you get maybe 4 that work.

Leider fehlen die Kunststoff Dichtinge. Man kann die Überwurfmutter noch so stark anlegen, aber dichtet nicht sauber ab. Bei höher preisigen NC Kupplungen liegen Kunststoff Dichtringe (12ct / Stück) bei, welche einen Formschluß gewährleisten zwischen dem Konus am NC Ball Lock und der Schlauchtülle. Schnell geliefert, ausgiebig getest und zurück geschickt.
