Question 1

If were to go looking for the cat where it is shown to be, would the technology still work on a mobile or tablet outside the house ie mobile internet?

Accepted Answer

I have had a very different experience. My cat managed to loose his and despite trying for ages at the location the tracker showed we still couldn't find it. Sometimes when he's standing beside me the tracker shows him in another street. To be honest I'm always surprised when the tracker shows him near where he actually is!

Question 2

How many cats can be added to the app?

Accepted Answer

There is no limit - some customers have more than 10 pets in the app and even more should be fine. But please keep in mind, that you need a subscription for every tracker/pet - plans can be found via tractive.com/plans

Question 3

Im just confused why there is the option of replacement batteries if you can charge it ???

Accepted Answer

So you can fit a freshly charged battery then let the cat out and track it while a second battery is recharging. This will then be ready to change over and let cat out anytime as required.

Question 4

If I decide to pay a monthly subscription, can I cancel it at any time without paying an exit fee? Thanks

Accepted Answer

From experience, that we be a no. This manufacturer used every excuse not to refund our subscription. The fact is, you don’t know that it doesn’t work for you until you’ve paid the subscription to activate it. Once you’ve done that, they don’t seem to care. They blamed everything but the product when we had Gps issues. Unless you have a brilliant phone/Gps signal in your area I’d walk away before you buy.
