**Q: do you have to have a sub out on youre amp to be able to use this?**
A: No you can piggy back the audio out for the speakers
From the amp straight into the left. And right audio in on the sub

**Q: Would i be able to use this subwoofer with my Yamaha rx v359 receiver. And how?**
A: Hello!

In theory, you should be able to take a phono / single RCA cable from the subwoofer output on the back of your receiver and into left or right of the RCA/line input on the back of the sub. Some people opt for a male RCA which splits into two male RCA so that both left and right receive an input but I believe there’s not much advantage.

**Q: Is it possible to connect my hi-fi via the 'speaker lvel inputs' and my tv sound bar using the 'line level inputs'. not to be played at the same time.**
A: If I understand you correctly, yes you can, but you just need care in terms of what you use & when. Yes, you can connect your hi-fi to the sub, via the speaker connections(take care & observe polarity), AND your soundbar via the line-level inputs. 
So if you use your hi-fi(with the soundbar & TV off) then the sub'll work using the speaker level connections. Then, for your TV & soundbar(with your hi-fi off), the sub'll work using the line level(the RCA phono) connections. 
You'll then just need to match up the cross-over frequency and output level of your sub for the different hi-fi & TV/soundbar needs, as I doubt that they'll be the same for both needs. However, you might be able to get a compromise to suit the two types of systems, that'll save fiddling around.

**Q: Can i connect this to my denon dht-s216 soundbar? soundbar has a single " subwoofer out" connection**
A: Yes, connect a 'Y' phono connector(*) from the Denon soundbar to the stereo inputs of the subwoofer. I guess the soundbar will output a mono signal in the subwoofer output, so even a single phono connector would work, but to ensure a better amplification use both phono inputs on the subwoofer. If set up correctly, you should get a rich, deep sounding low end to your experience. Enjoy!

I cannot praise this sub enough! It hooked up easily, adjusted to phase, cutoff and volume precisely. And the result is way better than one should expect at this price point. I have had subs costing considerably more that aren't as musical - and it can cover movie effects for a small to medium room perfectly well. Okay - you can get more out of 250+Watts but to match it for an accurate sound blending well with speakers in an AV system its going to cost several times more. Even the Walnut finish and overall heft of the admittedly big box is pleasing. Again, if you want something in glossy piano black packed into a small form factor its not for you. But as a big punchy and suprisingly deft performer it really can't be beaten for under £200. Its close to persuading me to get some diamond speakers to match if the sound, looks and finish are on a par.
