Nice Quality and Effective
I had some pictures taken earlier this year and my photographer friend used one of these. The images came out amazing! I've been interested in trying this technique myself so I finally bought myself one of these. This prism is heavy and not piece of junk like a lot of things are. It came with a little pouch to hold it in, as well as a box. I'll probably just keep the pouch because it's smaller. It also came with a cloth to clean off fingerprints. This size is really comfortable to hold in one hand, which is important so you can hold the camera with the other hand. Its been really cloudy so I haven't been able to get any good pictures yet, but it definitely refracts light like I wanted it to.

An optical adventure for all ages.
Lovely, heavy crystal glass. Flawless! Grabs white light and breaks it into all colors of the spectrum. A real rainbow of delight. And, held at eye height, it makes walking through a landscape or garden a true optical adventure. No child, nor adult, should be without one.

great little thing for big creativity
Nice little item and usage is really up to you imagination. I have an office and lights from the windows shine right on this little guy and create some nice look lights on the small area of the desk. Too bad I am writing this review while on Thanksgiving vacation else I would love to show. But do beware that dirty fingers-especially oilly because it will cause prints on the prism.

Well-packaged.
Very high quality. Should include a microfiber cloth to clean the prism as it is very easy to put fingerprints on the glass surfaces.

Awesome little prism!
Bought this as a bonus 3 year anniversary present and so glad I did. We put it in a window that sticks out above our kitchen sink, and it did not disappoint! In addition to a handful of little square rainbows being thrown around our kitchen, when hit with the right sun angle, it also throws a HUGE rainbow into the other room (see pictures). The prism is on the window shelf that is barely visible through the door at the top of the picture. We were very impressed at how well it worked - great value and fun to enjoy rainbows every day and eventually will help us teach our daughter about refracting light! :)

Well made prism with clear refraction
Well made prism. Clear glass and great size for dramatic reveal in a classroom. Very nice storage pouch and a box that will protect the prism when not in use. All this and a little polishing cloth to remove finger prints. Clear refraction.

Incredibly well-packaged. Perhaps too small width-wise for most photography uses.
Shipped quickly. Elegant packaging. Product well-protected in cushioned box. Nice that a cleaning cloth was included as fingerprints become easily visible as the product is handled. Upon trying this product out, holding it in front of both a Zeiss 24-70 and a Sony 55MM prime lens, the prism is too small width wise and doesn't cover enough of the view to get the effect I was intending. I will keep it, to perhaps cast some rainbow light on a subject in the future. But until then I will continue to use a glass of ice in front of the lens to achieve the desired randomness and organic, abstract blur.

Worked for our science experiment
The packaging of this prism is nice; I know I won't accidentally damage it when it's in storage. Based on another review I realized how tall my ordinary window frame is and ordered this longer prism. This prism is long enough to stand on end on the window sill and still have sunlight come over the frame and through the prism.
