I ordered this paper towel holder mainly for the look, and it really is pretty in person. The color is nice and adds a pop of red to the kitchen without being overpowering. It does its job well and works as expected for everyday use. That said, the quality seems a bit inconsistent. While it has a good weight to it, it actually feels a little too heavy, and the rod has already started to loosen. The sturdiness isn’t quite what I expected, and I can understand how some people have had issues over time. The biggest concern for me is the paint. There were small chips when it arrived, and the finish doesn’t feel especially durable. This will be a high-use item in my house, so time will tell, but I’m giving it 4 stars for now due to the issues mentioned above.

Beautiful color. Loved the red. When I got it, the paper towel arm was loose and would not screw in because the screw was stripped.

I actually ended up throwing this away. I didn't even send it back. It didn't cost enough for me to spend the time and effort it would take to drive to a return center to do so. But it cost enough for it not to be flimsy and impossible to be usable.

I reported the fact it had arrived bent but rather than request and photo and immediately refund my money I have to go out of my way to return the item to get a refund. Not good enough - $43 is alot of money to pay for very poor quality.
