Love this phone system and highly recommend.
I researched phones for about a month and ask a lot of questions before I bought this system. I have had Panasonic phones before, and, although the software interface is a little clunky, it does everything I need it to do, and the hardware is very high quality. I'm more than pleased. The interface may be too complex for an older user who is not familiar with scrolling through long menus and making selections. You just have to do this once and set it up like you like it. Just read the manual and be patient. The buttons on this phone seem a little larger than they have been in the past, and the full battery indicator is definitely larger. Works for me. I hate having a phone that stays lit in my bedroom - even a subtle light- and I can't even tell this phone is in my room. I love that! Battery life. We leave our handsets in the cradle when we're not using them, so we never have a problem with the battery running out. For the people who have 5 handsets and complain about battery use, why can't you just stick your hand set in the power cradle and leave it there when you're not using the phone? Or use Link to cell and carry your cell phone around like you already do anyway? This may sound silly, but one of the things I use a lot are the belt clips. I don't know if any other manufacturer includes these with their units, and it's one thing I look for. I'm a multi-tasker, and while I'm on the phone, I like to put away laundry and perform other mindless tasks. I don't understand some of the comments I have seen about the voice quality or volume of the unit. The voice quality and volume are even better than they have been on older models. Don't listen to those people. We don't use the Link to Cell option. All it really does is make your cell phone into an extra handset. What that means is that you don't need 5 handsets after all. Buy the one that has the fewest handsets you can get and Bluetooth your cell phone up to the base. Save some money. We haven't used the block caller option yet, but I definitely intend to use that. Older Panasonic phones do not have that feature. I would definitely buy this phone system again, and will probably continue to buy Panasonic.

Great system that is easy to learn & use
This Panasonic Link2Cell Bluetooth Cordless Phone System with HD Audio is a very nice unit - well made, good sound quality, and 5 handsets which are enough for most households. Unlike the ATT model that this Panasonic unit replaced, which had a manual of nearly 200 pages, this unit's manual is no where near that size and, as such, is easy to read & understand, meaning you will learn all of the functions quickly wihout the burden of reading 200 pages! The system will announce, on all handsets, the caller ID - either their name or their number - and you can have it block unidentified numbers or have them state their name before it will proceed. It has all the standard features of this type of system - caller ID, call logs, phone book, blocking options, etc., plus the ability to link your cell phones via bluetooth to this system. At great system at a very good price - you won't be disappointed!

Warehouse Purchase
I picked this up to replace a V-Tech system which I purchased a couple of years ago. When I bought the V-Tech I believe they were the only vendor to offer Smart Call Blocking software.......maybe a couple of ATT phones had that feature but we stopped doing any business with ATT decades ago. Anyway...... The V-Tech system, at that time, had the SMC on kind of a granny type phone and Panasonic had it on 0 phones so we went with V-Tech. Big phone, big numbers, amplified sound. It was OK and did a great job doing what I bought it to do........block all Robo calls 100%. Let me expand on that because there seems to be some confusion in the vendor descriptions and consumer reviews I have read about call blocking phones. Smart Call Blocking, or Automated Call Blocking as Panasonic labels it, requires no continued actions from you other than turning it on or off. Your programmed caller list will ring through unmolested. Other human callers will be requested to hit pound, or whatever, and only then will the phone ring. Robo calls never ring through but will show up on your CID after the fact. Got it? Good. The V-Tech system had a nice function where you had 4 buttons on the handset to program in 4 numbers you wanted to quickly call. Like I said.......it is really made for older folks, and I say that having just turned 66. After that nice little speed dial inclusion.....no comparison. Over the years I have owned more than a few cordless phone systems. Uniden, V-Tech, Siemens, and Panasonic. Out of the models I have owned Panasonic has, hands down, the best sound. Siemens was a close second. The others..........no thank you. Uniden no longer makes phones and Siemens seems to market Europe with their best phones and sell the garbage over here. So you really only have Panasonic, V-Tech, and ATT IMHO. Another thing.......this is not the voice activated model. As best as I could tell, this model had the HD sound option, the newer 775 model did not have HD sound but does have voice activation. I can tell you......this phone is so much more clearer sounding that the V-Tech, on speakerphone or off, there is no comparison. I will take the HD sound over voice activation any day. So why the 4 Stars? Well.........I bought this set through Amazon Warehouse. They had a few available, and the one I chose was listed as "Package has some damage". The package, in fact, was not damaged but had been open. And 1 belt clip was missing. Other than that, everything looked new. As for the negative reviews about the sound level.......hmmmm. I guess if this phone is not loud enough for you maybe you need the V-Tech granny version :)

A great home phone system!
The phone system installed very easily, primarily just installing the (included) batteries in each phone and plugging each station into an electric wall outlet to keep the batteries recharged. The base station is the only one that requires a connection to the landline telephone provider. We like the speaker phone feature with its excellent sound quality. The address book is easy to manage. Call blocking works great; hardly any more junk calls. An automated voice announces the caller ID on the second ring. The base station can be free standing on a desk or table top, but it can also be rotated, without the use of any tools, making it into a wall mount bracket. Very clever and well engineered. The base station can be paired to your blue tooth enabled smart phone so that you can receive cell phone calls on your landline phones. I don't use cell phones so I don't have any experience with this feature, but since everything else works so well, I am sure this one will make cell phone users happy as well. Cons: It does not have a re-dial feature, or perhaps we just have not yet discovered it.

good product getting better
I very much like the usefulness of this SET of phones that give me easy access around the house and in the garage. They have an excellent RANGE - without - the range booster. I am in the process of implementing this later version of the phone and looking forward to blocking more of the automated calls which waste much of my time by DISTRACTING me as they come in and as I wait to EVALUATE the contact! A DRAWBACK for me is that (1) Panasonic doesn't offer this AS a set with all 6 handsets, (2) that it doesn't SUPPORT MORE than 6, (3) that Amazon doesn't consistently offer it WITH the 6th handset as one of the suggested items FOR the order so the MATCHING handset is already identified for the customer! The LATEST version at this time doesn't even HAVE additional handsets AVAILABLE FOR order and it has the interesting feature of being able to record CONVERSATIONS! Pity its capacity is only 18 minutes! I have a number of calls that last over an hour!! I've used this Panasonic for MANY years and will remain with them. It could well stand to have a wider selection of 'ring tones' and it would be even better if ring tones could be assigned to CALLERS as is the case with cell phones. On this model, I DID use "Link to CELL" to download my Android's contacts! THAT was EASY when I finally understood it!!

Finally, a handle on robocalls
At first we balked at the idea of spending $175 on a cordless phone. We already had the Panasonic KX-TGF575, which worked fine as a cordless phone with 5 handsets, but it had very limited storage for numbers to block, and besides which, it doesn't do much good to block the phone number from a robocall after the fact. Spammers rarely use the same caller ID twice. We tried a much cheaper phone from AT&T with so-called smart call-block features, but it kept blocking numbers we'd already entered into the white list, so we sent it back. The Panasonic KX-TGF675 is a lot more expensive, but it works perfectly. In addition to a much larger memory for both blocked calls and for a personal phone book, it has a true smart call block feature that really works. With the automated call block feather enabled, most spam calls are blocked from getting through at all. Transfer of my smartphone phone book was relatively painless via Bluetooth, although one can only specify one phone book at a time, so it's not possible to transfer numbers into different phone books from the same smartphone. Additional phone numbers can be entered manually, but it's tedious, as one has to use the numeric keypad to represent the full alphabet. All calls from people in the phone book are automatically put through, without them having to go through automatic call screening. You can also add names to the 'whitelist', so you can still get automated calls from the likes of CVS. For any callers not in your phone book or in your whitelist, they will go through call screening, in which they are asked to enter a specific 1-3 digit number of your choosing. Robocalls won't respond to this and will be blocked. Real people who enter the number will not only be put through, but their number will automatically be added to the whitelist, so they won't have to go through call screening again. Automatic call block is the first system to be completely effective in blocking robocalls. Unfortunately, the feature only works with calls that come in through your landline. If you make use of the link-to-cell feature, calls that come in through your cell phone will not be blocked unless you have a spam filter on your cell phone. In addition to automated call block and a much larger phone book capacity, the 675 has HD digital voice enhancement. It really does make it much easier to understand people when compared to the 575 model. My one complaint is that with the entire line of Panasonic cordless phones, programming them is rather cryptic. All feature are available by menu, but the specific menus needed to access them are not always clear, which is probably why Panasonic has an alternative list of functions in the user manual that can all be accessed directly via a 3-digit code. Since most of us would rather not memorize a list of codes, that's only useful if one has the manual handy. What I'd really like to know is why, with a link-to-cell Bluetooth feather, Panasonic doesn't provide a smartphone app to make it easier to program via one's smartphone. Otherwise, I'm very happy with this phone.

Good Sound Quality, BAD Battery Life
This is not my first Panasonic Phone system, and this one checks the boxes in all but one area - Battery Life... it SUCKS!! All my previous systems had great battery life, which is about one week per charge, even with moderate use. I have had these phones for about 5 weeks now, and no matter what I did, the battery life was not longer than 2.5 days even if they were not used at all. I even replaced the batteries with Enloop Pro (a Panasonic brand) with twice the capacity and that only got me one extra day. The most annoying feature of this phone is the "Low Battery" announcement voice and the fact that it starts nagging you at 30%... why not 5%. The default is that it announces this EVERY HOUR! You can change the frequency but none of the choices will prevent it from announcing "Low Battery" in the middle of the night when you are trying to sleep. Luckily there is an option to turn OFF this feature. So, I did. - Wrong! Now there is NO WARNING that the battery is low and it simply cuts out on you in the middle of a conversation. They sorely need to add the option to go back to the usual notification, a beep in the ear at about 5% and displaying "Low Battery" on the screen!!!!! - - - I guess I'll just have to leave them on the chargers all the time. For the price I paid, I shouldn't need to. BOO Panasonic!

Excellent quality - No problems after one year in use
These sets of phone handsets and telephone base are great. I have been using the handsets and base for over a year now without any problems. It does not pronounce names too well, but the calls come in great. The handsets sound a bit too low, but "speakerphone" mode helps with this. We receive about 10 calls per day, and we have been using it over a year now without any problems. I bought an extended warranty just in case, but so far - no problems. We do not have long calls, and the batteries seem to hold up well.

Easy to install and use
We bought this to replace our older model. We only use a cell phone and have for years, this unit makes it easy to bluetooth to the cell phone, then answer the phone anywhere theres a phone base unit, 5 makes it nice for a large house. We also use the intercom, built in all the time. In the manual theres also a option to turn off advanced bluetooth features, in case your phone isn't compatible with advanced, this stopped alot of dropped calls.
