CPS Pro Set VP6S Premium Series 6 CFM Single-Stage Vacuum Pump, Dual Voltage with Gas Ballast Valve, 115 / 230V

I received my pump yesterday and put it to work immediately. I pumped down my manifold and a new 30# tank to 250 microns in a very short time. It is a single stage pump, and it does not have the extra stuff, but the price is great. It looks almost exactly like the photo. (The vacuum discharge cap/oil trap is a smaller black self contained cap and not the larger chrome one shown sticking up.... no big deal. This is a well thought out unit! It is dual voltage and also uses a standard computer power plug for power..... how easy is that? It is USA made and unless you are using it every day on huge systems I think that you will find this to be everything you need at a MUCH lower price than most of the others this size. It is not noisy, and does not have a lot of oily mist exhaust either. My best guess is that it holds about 700 ml of oil (about 8 ozs?) so it runs well and runs pretty cool too, with a good oil reserve level for extra cooling. It has the largest HP motor (1/2 hp)of any of the pumps of this size so the motor does not have to work at all and also runs very cool. You will like this clean compact pump unless you really need a larger dual stage pump..... most of us simply will not need that. Buy with confidence in USA made quality and performance. Enjoy!

I was totally amazed as to how good this pump would be. My son had been using a vacuum pump in his work and thought his was good. When he used the new CPS Pro he totally freaked out. Quiet and super efficient in getting the vacuum down quickly. Couldn't be happier. Fantastic investment. And I couldn't ask for more from this seller too.

Great vacuum pump for the price but didn't give it a 5 because the first one i received leaked tons oil all over the floor because it was defective. I contacted jb tools and they were really nice and responsive about replacing it and even paid the return shipping. It did take 3 weeks however to receive the replacement pump but i guess the distributor was out at the time. Other than that it looks and works great and isint too loud. Also includes 2 bottles of oil. Ive only used it for a month but the replacement seems to be working just great.

Fantastic pump pulls strong vacuum.....gets slightly warm after an hour on vehicle AC system, but not hot like some cheap pumps I have used.

I wouldn't recommend this to anyone. First time outta bag overheated. Also jbtools wouldn't recommend buying anything from them also DO NOT USE THEM. I'm a union pipe fitter we don't always use vacuums on the job. This was embarrassing brought it to the job to start commissioning systems. Hooked up my micromiter started pump with oil at max level. The thing wouldn't pull down past 1000 without overheating. Junk. I've bin doing this for years. I don't want a refund just a switch out exchange. So I bought it april 30th. It's now June 23. I just got married in May and didn't work for 3.5 weeks for honeymoon and planing. Just broke it out today and junk thanks jbtools your the best. Shame on me for not having work to commission a system. But shame on you for bad customer service.
