We bought them for a kid's school project (diorama) and they were the perfect size. Most of the items are very small, the tallest size is the tree but the animals are shorter.

The picture shows Mesozoic aquatic life, which TOOB does sell. There is a different TOOB that has late Cenozoic life forms (cavemen, mammoth, saber tooth cat, etc.)
