I bought this book for my Son, Will - one of his many Christmas gifts; he's a Yankees fan. I'm a long suffering Reds fan, but can't blame him. Unlike my team over the past ten-plus years, the Yanks management wants to win.At any rate, I have to say that I've always been somewhat of a Yankees' fan as well - this speaks to my appreciation for baseball history. Yankee Stadium plays a LARGE part of that.This book covers so much of Yankees' history in that stadium, as well as other memorable sporting events. I am very satisfied with the book as well as the timeliness of the delivery. Being a lifelong Yankees fan I am looking forward to the new Yankee Stadium with bittersweet emotions. The new stadium is great for fans as well as for ownership of the team. I will never forget my visits to Yankee Stadium to see my favorite team as well as my childhood idol (Mickey Mantle)with my lifelong idol my dad. My husband who has been a Yankee fan ever since he was a little boy loved this book I bought it as a gift for him. I originally saw it on QVC in a box for about $76 with shipping and since I don't buy any books without consulting Amazon first I checked it out. Who needs a box for an extra $40. My husband said it brought back lots of memories and the pictures are fantastic .He was thrilled I thought of this for him.

Wish the cover would have been in better shape. I also have had to use tape to keep book in order. But, if you lovethe Yankees and can get a new book, you will love this.

Great book and a must-have for true Yankee fans and baseball purists alike. A true send off to the Cathedral of baseball. The stadium played host to many historic events besides yankee baseball, but will always be remembered for the many great moments in pinstripe history. A definitive account of the big old ballpark in the bronx. This book is excellent!!!

I ordered this for my 25 yr old son who is a big fan of the stadium. He had seen the book at full price elsewhere, & it was a big hit for him to get it for Christmas. It was in very good condition with a fold at the top of the cover but otherwise perfect.

I was given this book a few years back , enjoyed it so much that I thought it would make a wonderful Birthday present for my Son in Law .
