Review: Works very well on walnut in my CNC router - I bought this to use in my CNC router for projects where I need to hog out some deep voids (e.g., in the back of a clock for the clockworks), and it works very well. There is a gap on the end between the two cutting edges, so you can't plunge straight in with this bit, but a reasonably shallow ramp or spiral works very well. Nice clean cut in walnut (which is all I've used it on thus far).

I bought it for the head size I use for hinges, the only problem the Shank is too long to cut the depth of 3/16 deep--on my router table and palm router also
