General 3-way Adjustable Hand Grip Stabilizer Mount Arm for GoPro HERO7 HERO6 HERO5 HERO4 HERO3 HERO2 action cameras, Black

This is a well built mount and it is my go to mount for times when I'm out and about and just want to have my GoPro handy. It clips onto a belt to shoulder strap and makes it quick and easy to grab the camera start taking hand held video or photos. The clamping function is very secure and the mount never slips even when attached to the thin chest strap on my day hiking pack. I'm really glad I got this.So, why just 4 stars? Well here's the deal- The description says it can mount to a backpack strap for taking video- and it can- but when mounted to a shoulder strap as shown in the photos on Amazon it points slightly to the side. That's just because of the way the shoulder straps lay over a persons shoulders when carrying a backpack and there is no way to adjust the side to side angle of the camera with this mount. I thought I would be able to find an easy way to adjust the angle of the camera, but without modifying the mount or adding shims to the shoulder strap there is no way to make the camera point straight ahead when hiking. It does point straight ahead when I mount it on the chest strap but since most backpack chest straps are narrow and not worn super tight the camera bounces with each step and the resulting video is un-watchable.So bottom line for me is that it's a great GoPro carrier but not great for taking video when mounted to a backpack strap.

good clip for gopro.5 stars the product quality for the cost is good. do not try to exceed the limitations of the device and you'll be happy i think... I amPROs:-The clip has a good force or pressure clamps well.-Has 24 angle detents for turning the camera, seems to hold in position ok.-The turnable gopro mount part is held to the clip with a screw and nut, the nut seems to have red lock tight or other like material on it.CONs:-All though it has a small tab for hooking the safety lanyard. Not sure i will use that, as it is part of the swivel mount not the clip side, so if the screw fails of the plastic brakes you will loose the camera regardless of the lanyard.-I think that if you turn the cam mount (as shown in the picture on the back pack strap) it may be week it could bust off or crack around the screw if a fair amount of force is applied to the camera side.THOUGHTs-I do not think it is good for "extreme" conditions but for hiking or on your car visor you'll have no problems.-This would not be comfortable on a hat, if you want it on your head buy the right tool for the job their is a head strap made for gopro.-Also it seems that it would be east to tighten the screw/nut if the swivel ever gets loose.

I bought this clamp to use with my GoPro4 Silver while on vacation at Disney World. I did not want to wear the chesty strap since it is a bit goofy looking, to me. I wore a backpack the entire time so I used this clamp to clip my camera to my shoulder strap.It worked much better than I had hoped for. The clamp has a tight spring so it held tight and never slipped off or even moved. Very secure and I had to take the pack on and off many times. It is solidly built.In retrospect, it worked much better than the chesty strap could have. The clamp has a swivel mount with many click stops, so the camera can be rotated to keep it level. I tookA lot of photos also so the clamp allowed my to quickly switch from landscape to portrait mode without removing.I was able to make easy battery changes on the move by flipping the camera forward and opening the housing. With the door on top, the camera could not fall out.On rides, I would use the clamp on my watch strap so I could film my family.This mount exceeded my expectations. It was a last minute buy and ended up as my favorite mount.

I bought this to clip to my backpack harness to film a hiker's eye view of the trail. It clipped firmly and never shifted out of place. It even too a couple of zip line rides clipped to my belt harness with no worries. The clip is tight and would grip firmly to something as thin as as a jacket pocket or thick as a padded backpack strap or the aluminum awning of a tour boat.The swivel was great to align the camera to line up with the horizon from both pieces of gear. It connects simply and soundly to my GoPro Hero 3+ camera case, or I could use the extension arm for a 90 flip.The one drawback is that the hinge at the bottom of the case prevents me from getting it completely level. It either points down or up 15 degrees. For the price I decided to just make it work. This is a fantastic value to expand your GoPro mounting options.

Received it on time and very quickly tried it out for the first time when I went to east coast comic con this past weekend and u had it attached to my backpack and It held tight, real tight the teeth on it grip extremely well and it clamps down strongly it didn't budge from where I attached it, I received a lot of compliments on it. Recorded some great p.o.v. shots had to move a little extra to get some footage of my son running around but I really like the product and it's build is very good now the only thing I have left to do is take it to work and try it out there I do a lot of climbing and I intended to use the clip for recording at work but I didn't have a chance yet. 5 stars for now but I will update if it does or does not make it through a day of lineman work from what it looks like it will hold up and I'm hoping it does!

very sturdy, when I first opened the packaging I thought it was made of metal but with inspection found that it is plastic. Though it is plastic it is very strong. The clamp is a beast and takes quite the effort to open it, whatever you do, don't clamp it on your finger OUCH that is how strong that thing is. The big issue is that it is loose on the gopro and the thumbscrew does not screw all the way in the mount. I had to use an extender arm with a smaller screw attaching to the clip, otherwise the gopro bounces around, Once I used the extender arm it worked fine (photos attached), I would definitely recommend using a screw driver to tighten the screws because of the mounts odd fit. I bet a replacement nut would solve that problemDespite that big concern I still gave it 4 stars,

Como dueño de una GoPro es básico contar con diferentes monturas para las diferentes actividades a realizar.En especial busqué una montura que se pudiera adaptar a mi mochila y que grabara mientras camino sin que se vea demasiado, que tuviera buen agarre pero que fuera de fácil desmontaje. Este clip cumplió.La presión que ejerce es bastante, hasta este momento nunca se ha safado (corriendo, descenso en bici, patinaje, etc) y los dientes que tiene aunque se anclan en la tela no la rasgan ni lastiman.El único "pero" que le pondría es que me hubiera gustado que trajera tornillo extra, pero así como está es casi perfecto.

Me hubiera gustado haber conocido este accesorio antes de comprarme la montura para la cabeza y el pecho, en realidad es muy resistente y tiene una presión buena a la hora de agarrar la cámara, da la sensación de ser muy rigida esta pinza e incluso puedo correr cuando la traigo puesta, me gustaría que fuera toda metálica pero aún así me parece que si tienes una cámara de acción, este debe ser uno de los primero accesorios que debes adquirir para sacarle todo el jugo.Lo recomiendo porque puedo ponerla en muchas partes y puede girar sobre su base para adaptar el ángulo a donde apunta y es resistente.

Habiendo tantos accesorios de diferentes precios, marcas y calidad... éste es el mejor accesorio para tus cámaras de acción, el mas funcional, polivalente, es la mejor ganga por el precio que tiene... no dudes en comprarlo y deshacerte del resto de accesorios "innecesarios" que hay en el mercado.

Accesorio muy simple pero muy practico, se puede colgar prácticamente de cualquier cosa delgada como del asa de una mochila o de una gorra, se va aflojando con el uso pero es fácilmente ajustable con es desarmador de cruz, en general es muy buen producto y a muy buen precio

Es de buena calidad, tiene buen agarre, pero viene sin tornilloSi no tienes un tornillo extra tienes que estar cambiandolo junto con la GoPro
