Outstanding product. My front and back yard revived, it is super green and thick. Awesome!!!

Fertilized lawn and watered right after. Two days later lawn is very green and lush. Great product! Update; have been using this fertilizer for two months now and my lawns are absolutely beautiful,used several different other products in the past and this one brought my lawns back from yellow and dieing! You have to be sure and water it in to the lawn after applying!! Excellent product!

I think it performed as good or better than Scott's for less money

OK so I have a before picture of what my yard looked like 2 seasons ago. I immediately started with this fertilizer and watered it daily. It greened up pretty fast. Last year I applied this fertilizer in April and it got even nicer. This year I again apied it in April. We got several days of rain after. I am having to mow every 5 or 6 days on the highest setting. It is growing so fast! It is very thick and lush. Nice dark green color. Absolutely the envy of the neighborhood. I only apy it once and it keeps it beautiful all summer and it keeps a nice green color in the harsh winter. Every house needs this. Fyi I live in north idaho, don't know how it works elsewhere, but it's amazing here. You'd better get ready to mow mow mow!

Not very effective . Bought miracle grow LAWN food and baboom! Greenness everywhere.

About 4 yrs ago a fellow coworker of mine suggested that I use this. He stated to me that he's been using this since the 80's. Also he conveyed to me that stores have been removing this brand in a span from the shelves in effort to push the Scotts brand. I took his advice and I was very pleased with the results. I've been using it since. Also I turned quite a few of my family members onto this brand(Pennington Ultra Green) I refuse to use anything else. Pennington has a variety of lawn products and that's what I'm sticking with.

Decided to purchase this fertilizer because of the higher amount of Nitrogen, which my grass needed because it was a yellowish green. We spread this on a day when we were expecting rain. We spread at 12:30pm on July 7th, at 2pm we had heavy rain and a thunderstorm for 20 mins then steady rain until 4pm. The lawn had plenty of water, it’s the only way we spread fertilizer. We watch the weather and wait for rain. We don’t have an irrigation system and it’s expensive to run city water. Today, 7/16 I cut the grass. Above photo is the result of this fertilizer. It does a great job if you are sure to water it in - just like any fertilizer, but especially when nitrogen is high.

I have new sod and wanted to bring a sodded area with the new stuff and applied about 2.5 lbs or less on a 750 square ft area and followed directions with rotary spreader setting and watering in 2 times 40 min. The grass is Kentucky Blue. I am not new at this. I have been taking care of my lawn for over 14 years. Followed the instruction exactly, did not deviate, did not over use and applied as recommended. After 3 days later I have no lawn. Pennington Fertilizer totally burn my beautiful new lawn!!!! Please do not use this poison! Very poor customer service and product. Pennington not responsible for this product!!! Buyers beware !!! Absolutely horrible !! I should have read the reviews before buying it. This is unbelievable!!! I will never never use a Pennington product again!!!
