Prestige Liquid Eyeliner, Black, 0.1 Ounce

I will ONLY use Prestige brand for as long as I can manage. It has a rich, dark, opaque color and the perfect liquid application which dries as you would expect it to. I've used it for almost a decade and it's never disappointed or faded during a full day of wear. It's very easy to correct or remove if you make a mistake during application. I have tried a few other brands (from the most well known to the unheard of) and literally every single one had some problem with it, including: - applies so light you barely see the (black) color - dries in the same way as glue on skin, so you can peel off the entire line of eyeliner as a solid piece - applicator brushes are too thin, thick, or strangely shaped - hard to remove without leaving a dark shadow on skin I have never used a Prestige eyeliner that called itself "waterproof" before though, so I was very worried to buy this one. I have no use for a waterproof one, as I find it so convenient to rub some off with a moist Q-tip if needed. However as many other reviews have stated, this one does not seem to be waterproof in any way at all (despite having the word Waterproof clearly printed on the bottle). I have found no difference at all between this "Waterproof" variety and my regular one. I'd hate to give this fewer than 5 stars though because I love Prestige that much, but be warned if you are looking for something waterproof!!!

I've been wearing eyeliner for many years, and have tried many different ones, but I keep going back to Prestige. I've resolved to stop wasting money trying other brands. It's the best eyeliner for the money -- It goes on smoothly and has true staying power, even though it is not waterproof. The applicator makes it very easy to draw a fine line along the eyelids. Lately I've been having difficulty finding it in the local drug stores and Wal Mart, so I was thrilled to find it on Amazon.

I have been using this brand of liquid eyeliner for years. I have been faithfully using liquid eyeliner in my routine for over 20 years and experimenting with different brands (both cheap and high-end) and this is by far the best brand that I have used. I was disappointed when my local drug store stopped carrying it so I purchased it here. Here are my overall thoughts on the product: -It is a bit light during the first few uses, keep shaking it well and it will get darker and stay dark. -Yes it can sting for a second but for me it's nothing serious and it was only if I had allergies or something irritated my eyes previously. -It lasts all day and night (for those of us who have fallen asleep with it on) -The applicator is fantastic because it is not a brush that gets dull and unusable over time. It's hard applicator makes it last a long time. -No need to water it down if it dries a bit, just go back to square one and shake vigorously. -I've had a bottle last a year, this eyeliner is absolutely incredible and has a long shelf life.

Apparently I've written a review for this before and gave it 2 stars. I have to say it was maybe 6+ years ago because that's how long I've been using this minimum and it is the most essential beauty product I own in my collection. I ALWAYS have a backup ordered usually 2 or some weeks before I'm completely out. It took some adjusting to, but it works wonders once you've got it down. Some useful tips I've learned since my first purchase: 1. With eyeliner liquid on the brush, swirl the tip around the inside of the rim of the bottle to get all that excess liquid off. It ensures you get a clean tip for perfect lines. 2. You KNOW when you're out. This amazing bottle with that little bead inside really gets every bit of liquid on that brush until it's 100% empty. I give my nearly dead bottles a good shake every time and I still somehow get something out of it. It won't be that clean line you're looking for, but it works great as a "filler" for your thicker eyeliner style.

This is a decent eyeliner. It stays on all day and it's black enough. Though, I do have to say, it takes a couple swipes instead of just one to get it dark enough. One swipe, it'll look "light black" and the tip of the brush will dig through the line you just made and your skin will show through (hope that's understandable). So, then you'll have to do one or a couple more swipes. Speaking of the brush, it's great. It's a stiff brush, which is what I like because it makes it much easier for me to get neat lines and a perfect wing. It seems this product will last a decent amount of time, but that also depends on how often you wear makeup. I only wear make-up on the weekends and occasionally once or twice during a week day and I've had mine for maybe 5-6 months now. I of course know of other brands that are better quality and boundly more expensive, but this is decent quality also, especially for the price. I'd buy this again.

I USED TO LOVE THIS EYELYNER WHEN IT WAS IN THE GENIE BOTTLE. I HAVE BEEN BUYING THIS STUFF SINCE THE 1990'S. IT USED TO GO ON SMOOTH AND LOOK LIKE BLACK INK, AND STAYED ON FOR HOURS. THE PRODUCT AND PRODUCT PACKAGE HAS CHANGED FOR THE WORSE. NOW IF I WEAR IT ON MY TOP EYELIDS, THE PRODUCT SMUDGES ONTO THE SKIN BELOW MY EYES. DISSAPOINTED ALSO THE PRODUCT COST MORE NOW THAN IT DID BACK THEN. NOT WORTH IT. THAT WILL BE MY LAST PURCHASE OF THIS ITEM, EVER. I can’t believe it’s been that long 😅 But yes this is my absolute favorite eyeliner for years. Goes in super easily with little skill needed. I’m a pro by now but I found the felt tip the easiest when I first started using liquid liner. It washes off really easily with soap and water so with that being said on super hot days sometimes I need to touch up my ‘wing’ but i don’t fault it for that…it gets REALLY hot where I live. I’ve used others here and there but I keep coming back.

For me the best eyeliner in the world! Vibrant colour, easy to apply, just wish it was easier to get a hold of!

Love this eyeliner! I have loads of liquid eyeliners (Chanel, Eyeko, Nars, YSL, Rimmel) but this one is my favourite and by far the easiest to use. I find some liquid liners can dry out so easily which makes them difficult to apply, with this liner as the liquid is in a pot it's almost like using a paint brush. Every time I've used it I've managed to achieve a perfect feline flick, something I've found very tricky to achieve in the past! I only found out about it as it was recommend in the Guardians top 50 beauty products. I'll definitely be repurchasing as its a fab price too.

Lovely colour and very easy to apply

This is the best eyeliner I have ever come across. The brush is perfect to apply. Sephora is the only other brand that has come close. but they have discontinued the one I used to buy
