Review: delicate flavor, rich quality - This cacao butter is non deodorized, but it's also pretty much raw. The roasting would develop the cocoa flavor and this product is pretty flavor/aroma-less. Im going to try a brand like Yupik next time - I love their cacao paste, which is lightly roasted, not nearly as much as for confectionary chocolate but more than 'raw' and plenty to make it taste good while retaining 'ceremonial' heart opening euphoria qualities. Raw has benefits, but maybe more so in cacao paste than butter ... for cocoa butter I now know that I want some level of roasting and flavor development. I wouldnt get this again, but I think it is good and high quality if you are looking for raw and mild to no taste or smell.

Great taste and smell, but most of all, it helps for coughing. Whenever someone in my family gets sick with a sore throat or coughing, I dissolve 1 or 2 nibs in warm milk (you can add little sugar if needed) and drink it while it warm. The throat feels instantly better and cough gets lighter. The cacao butter coats you throat, so you feel better right away. Even my kids started to ask for it when they get sick.
