Shentec batteries for my Hitachi drills preformed as well as the original Hitachi batters. Other replacement batteries didn't recharge well but these are worth the money.

I originally gave this a 1 star rating because I was asked for a rating before I even received the product. I finally received the product 4 days late. It is a good product and does exactly what I needed.

seems to work fine and charges faster than some competing units. If you're shopping for one of these, pay attention to the amp rating. This one is 1.5, many others in the same price range are 1.0 amps. Lower amps mean longer charge times. The factory charger is a 2 amp unit, so the 1.5 is still a very safe charging load. Some other reviewers have mentioned a problem with the piece that connect to the battery being hard to stay connected. Mine doesn't have this problem, it attaches with sufficient firmness.

I've had 4, 12 volt Hitchi drills for 18 years. I like them cause they are light weight and having to walk up 4 flights of stairs with other tools can be a load. The old batteries were starting to fail. These new batteries work great on these old drills. Bringing new life to their purpose.

Very poor performance. These batteries lasted about four months and died. My originals lasted ten years. JUNK.

Did exactly what I bought it for. Charged battery for my drill, the battery fit right into charger. Charged quickly.

I HAVE PURCHASED THESE BEFORE AND THEY WERE PERFECT THESE, HOWEVER, DID NOT FIT MY DRILL VERY WELL BATTERIES WOULD NOT SLIDE IN I HAD TO ALTER THE PLASTIC CLIPS ON EACH SIDE WITH A GRINDER TO GET THE BATTERIES TO ATTACH TO MY DRILL. DON'T KNOW WHY THIS IS. THEY LOOK JUST LIKE THE OTHERS I PURCHASED BUT AS STATED, THE CLIPS ON EACH SIDE WOULD NOT ATTACH TO MY DRILL UNTIL I SANDED THEM DOWN.
