easy to take apart, just unclips (no screws)mosfet is N308ADyou can find some reviews of similar items on YT (inline led pwm dimmer)this works on about 730 - 750 Hzmax duty cycle is around 90% (with 2 led strips; with one it was only about 76%)i doubt those wires will take 6A, and probably you'd need a heatsink on the mosfet as well when driving hardthe pot has a switch tooI'm using it to drive 2 led strips as wide screen backlight, the dimming is going to come handy

Bought this for under bed LEDs.Works great - there is a slight buzz at certain positions (as with all dimmers) but luckily not at the ~70% I have them set at. Not that it's loud anyway and I probably wouldn't notice it when not right next to it

Bought two packs (so for 4 dimmers). One stopped working, and another has a loose connection and so will stop working if you touch it.
