looks great, has built in base with 3 screw holes for mounting and calibrating/adjusting. we'll see how it holds up to the sun and weather....

Basic
It's a basic bubble level. Dies the job. However, only way to mount that is provided is the screw holes. Would prefer a sticky back or magnet or anything that doesn't require holes.

Jiffy level
These are great for quick alignment. On a drill it can help keep holes vertical. I used them as quick calibration feedback on equipment.

Found this level agrees with a standard level
I've used the Johnson bulls-eye (purchased at True Value) for about three years. It's all plastic, but a well made and accurate product. My purpose is to be sure I have a replacement collar on a kerosene lamp level. And repaired electric lamp finials, plumb. I lay a board on the workbench, then place shims as needed to make the board level. I check the set-up with a standard 12" level, and this bulls-eye level. I've always found the Johnson bullet level to agree with a standard level. Turning the item slowly around, also shows the project is level/plumb. Been very satisfied with this product. It's kept in an UN-heated garage with no ill effects.

Not accurate
My level was not accurate; measurements are noticeably skewed to one side. These types of levels are self-calibrating, in the sense that if you rotate them 180 degrees, they should remain consistent. I'm not sure if it is the bottom surface of the device that is not perfectly level, or if it is the bottom of the clear plastic top that isn't. Either way, it's not a good thing.
