BLACKHAWK Leather Inside-The-Pants Holster with Clip

The build quality on this is awesome; the clip grabs the waistband or belt very securely; and my CW-9 fits very snug and doesn't fall out if held upside-down (this may change over time). The leather is stiff enough to make one-handed re-holstering very simple, and rides comfortably enough in the waist band without having to be overly aware of it's presence. It rides at the ideal height (at least for me) for quick access to the grip without getting your finger around the trigger prematurely; although, I wouldn't mind if it sat just a hair deeper. If I had to change anything, I would like the leather to be a little taller (about a 1/4 inch at most) on the inside to keep the back corner of the slide off my skin. Even so, I still give it 5 stars because it was exactly what I was looking/hoping for and at a very reasonable price.

After properly sizing the holster (place it in a heavyweight plastic bag or thin liner sock and force it fully into the holster, then let sit 24 hours) I now have a draw that is firm but smooth as butter. Good quality leather is necessary so it has a smooth finish inside instead of all these rough fibers found in lesser holsters, then of course properly boning the holster is essential.The only thing that I think could make it better is if it were canted for easy draw from 3:00 o'clock to 5:00 o'clock wear position.. It is really too large a gun in the sizes it is made for to wear appendix unless you are really thin. It is not made for pocket gun sizes like sunubbies or mini 380/9s which are often worn appendix.Excellent quality and fit. This has an MSRP of $69.45 so it is also an excellent value. The only think that could make this better is adjustable cant. It is straight up and down whihc limits it's wear positions somewhat, but this is the same as most single clip inside the pants holsters.

This is a good-looking holster that works well and is comfortable. It's made of top grain, reasonably thick saddle leather, with reinforcement around the top edge to help it retain its shape where the gun is inserted, and a very sturdy metal clip to go over the belt. I tried the King Tuk and could never quite get it adjusted the way I liked, plus the width of it somewhat limited where it was going to fit on my belt. The smaller size of this one solved that problem. And the height the gun handle extends above the holster makes it an easy draw.FWIW, I've got a Glock 26 Gen3, and the holster is a size 4, recommended for that model. I subsequently got the size 13 for a Ruger SR9C, and it fits very well. The gun sits in the holster well, and again it's a good draw with that gun also. I recommend this holster highly.When you first got it, it's extremely tight. Wrap the gun in two sheets of wax paper, wax side out away from the gun, and jam it all the way in the holster overnight. The next morning you can remove the wax paper and it'll fit fine, which is with some snugness but a serviceable draw.

This holster was a tight fit for my full-sized 1911 pistol - a Taurus PT 1911 AR, with rail - but after working it with a leather product it now fits like a glove, and allows for a fairly smooth draw. I am not a huge fan of inside the waistband carry, but I can do it with this holster without too much discomfort, and it is a quick way to be able to just grab the pistol and pretty much snap it on the belt when needed unexpectedly. It appears to be well made, and the price was fair, so I have no regrets about the purchase.[...]

I am a bigger man(above average girth in the belly) and I was looking for an inside the waistband holster that was comfortable and didn't print. This has been a life saver. It takes a little while to break-in(took me about 3 weeks for a GOOD feel)but once it is, it is great. I clip onto my pants and it does not come off when I draw the weapon(after it is broken in), the gun is nice and secure in the holster. I can hold it upside down with the weapon in the holster and it does not come out. This holster is amazing and I wish it was made for the Glock 30 as well. I will not hesitate to buy this holster again should I need another. I even like the brown leather. I am pretty picky about my merchandise. You will be satisfied with this holster

I purchased this holster for my Glock 22. I have worn this holster almost every day now for a month and have been very surprised and pleased as to how comfortable it is. I didn't expect to be able to carry my full sized Glock so easily. Quite honestly, I expected it to really be uncomfortable and was looking for a Glock 27 to replace as my carry gun. I do feel the gun on my side and sometimes have to readjust the positioning, and the gun does sometime imprint, but that is not the fault of the holster but rather the simple size of the gun. Leather and stitching are high quality, fits the gun nicely. While it has a clip that will easily clip onto your pants waist without a belt, I would recommend wearing a belt with it. The belt helps to retain the holster and make for a smoother draw.

Universal sizing (read: cost saving measure) means this holster is too long for a G19, which adds unnecessary mass and length.
