Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone - PlayStation 2

A really kind seller to ship this game at request to my country . It’s obyesly a great game as I was looking for from such a long time . Finally got it at a reasonable price .

I Loved this game overall, it was incredibly fun and challenging at the right parts. Although the game does have its drawbacks, for one there were ALOT of bugs and glitches and things in the game. I had to restart the game a couple different times because harry got stuck and wouldn't move or he got stuck in a cutscene or something. I was also a little concerned because this game, in my opinion atleast, was made for a younger audience and i just found it to be a little difficult at some parts. for instance the venomous tentaculas took me FOREVER to beat. Overall though i was extremely happy with this game, it was incredibly addictive and while it was extremely frustrating at parts, it kept me coming back for more every time.

To be completely honest, I haven't actually played it that much. And it's not quite the same as when I was twelve and I first played /Chamber of Secrets,/ I mean, I guess I'm not really as immersed, but I think that's because I'm less of a Harry Potter afficionado/lover now that it's not as relevant to my life, so it's not the same experience. And I think that's a pretty substantial reason why I'm not as into this game, although I guess it isn't quite as good as /Chamber of Secrets/ was either, even ignoring all that, partly due to the fact that, I mean, I think it's a derivative, I'd heard that somewhere. It's weird, because that's the thing, the reason I say it's not as good independent of the personal reasons that fuel my gaming apathy in this situation, is because it plays like a predecessor, in that it's more rudimentary, in terms of controls, and dialogue, and general design/sophistication. But I'm sure it gets going, and I'll get into it when I pick it back up. It's Harry Potter. So I guess I gave it 5/5 on good faith.

My favorite game

I had a long time ago and it worked. I decided to get again and was very disappointed, I got to first time Harry gets to the common room door and it freezes . It doesn't matter how many times I try or clean every thing it still freezes . I tried to return it but have not received any kind responds.

There are a lot of flaws compared to Chamber of Secrets, but still worth playing. It would've been so much better if they had taken out the troll bosses though

Great game, and everything was in perfect condition!

I really enjoyed HP Chamber of Secrets on the PS2. Since then, I've tried all of the other games (except perhaps DH) and hated them. Gameplay and design were completely different. This one is in same style as CoS. Pieces of it are identical actually (some of the tasks from noteboard are same so you already know where things are). If you prefer the early HP games to the later, it's a good one. Bit expensive as it is apparently hard-to-find, but worth it to me.

To find this game is very rare, but when you do, hang on to it. Truly for any HP fan, since the graphics are bleh, but still adheres to the storyline! Definitely worth it!
