This excellent cocoa makes my brownie recipe rich and dark and perfectly delicious. Looking forward to seeing how it enhances my chocolate cookies. I now use Green and Black's 85% cocoa chocolate bars chopped for chocolate chip cookies and it's a positive difference. Quality chocolate makes a difference.

The high price tells you this is the real stuff and will work for your applications, nothing exiting about it. For those who are not too gram or oz conscious, need to keep in mind this container is tiny; you may likely need more than one of them.

I love this smooth rich european cocoa...it is so versatile and a necessary pantry item to make fun quick desserts or a warming cup of cocoa. The only downside is that it is shipped from the UK via Amazon and it can take up to two weeks to arrive in the US! I have tried similar cocoa brands from high end grocery stores but they are often bitter and pale in comparison to the rich depth of flavor of Green & Black's Organic Cocoa. I just wish it were more readily availiable in local US grocery stores.

It came from the UK - this is fab. Makes a lovely hot chocolate but most of all we use it in brownies and add a tablespoon to chill con carne - delicious !!

Bummer. I thought this was hot chocolate. Hot cocoa is NOT the same. And I can’t return it. 🤬🤬🤬

I didn't realize the difference between Green & Black's cocoa and hot chocolate drink. I wanted the hot chocolate drink which has all the sugar already added in; you just have to add hot milk. With the cocoa, you have to mix the amount of cocoa with some milk to make a paste, then add the right amount of hot milk and sugar to make the drink. It's more involved and takes longer than the hot chocolate drink. Unfortunately, I was informed that I can't return this item for what I really want: the hot chocolate drink.

I have been buying this cocoa at Whole Foods for years and was delighted that I can now order it on Amazon because I now live in a City that doesn't have a Whole Foods. The containers are smaller than you'd find for basic cocoa in a grocery store, but the superior quality of the cocoa and the fact that is organic make it worth the extra money. A minimum order of 2 is required via Amazon, but I order it in quantities of 6 tins which lasts me a few months as I make delicious hot chocolate at least once per day -- worth every penny.

Cadeau pour un fan de cacao. Connaissant la marque pour les tablettes de chocolat, j'ai acheté et offert les yeux fermés ! J'ai tout de même eu l'occasion de goûter, très bon en chocolat chaud. Cacao non sucrée, on peut en ajouter par la suite selon son goût.

I made a chocolate fudge cake and the recipe called for 'top quality cocoa powder' so I bought this. The aroma on opening the tub was so much nicer than other cocoa powders and the cake was delicious. Would certainly recommend it for baking and there's plenty left for a cheeky hot chocolate.
