Find It in Everything: Photographs by Drew Barrymore

I have heard/read comments about the quality of photographs in this book and feel compelled to add my own. The critic misses the premise of the book; spontaneity. Life isn't always scripted and/or staged. Ms Barrymore found her inspiration in the simple things in the MOMENT. In my mind, this is reflective of finding love in everything, finding joy in everything, finding peace, etc. etc. etc. When we can remove our critical lens and capture what our heart is telling us in each and every event of our lives, we will find it. Drew Barrymore certainly has in this simple, yet beautiful book. Let the critics say what they will, but what they're missing is EVERYTHING. Thanks, Drew! My daughter's birthday is Valentine's Day and I presented her with your book. It is representative of who she is as a person; one who has faced adversities, challenges, sorrows and joy with the same eye as you. She has, and continues, to find the heart in everything.

I personally LOVE hearts so the concept of this book was right up my alley. Instead of a "book," I feel like I am looking at a personal scrapbook of sweet, endearing images. It has motivated me to look for love (hearts) in everything around me. I have already noticed several hearts just in my day to day activities. This is a nice coffee table book and a fun conversation starter. Love it!

I love all of Drew's photos. Interesting to realize what we can find in nature if we just take the time to look. I just did not read the description well enough, I thought this was going to be a much longer book. I do love the comments and background she wrote for some of the photos.

I bought this book for my wife because she also sees hearts in everything. Everywhere we go, my wife is constantly pointing out hearts which are mostly circumstances of nature. She's been compiling her own photo album for several months since we moved to Central California. I surprised her by ordering the book and had it gift wrapped and delivered to our front door. Needless to say, she was very happy! We love Drew and her body of work, but now, we love her even more knowing she has a keen eye for hearts. Being married to a wonderful woman who looks for the good in everything and in everyone is a blessing. Drew seems to share this attribute with my wife. Thanks Drew for a great little book!! I saw Drew Barrymore on the Ellen show and she was talking about this book. I am a big fan of hers and I thought it would be a perfect gift for a nun friend of mine has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. I am so glad that I didn't have it shipped to her!! I wanted to write a little something in it. I could hardly wait to get the book. When it arrived, I sat down to look at it and was happy that I was going to send my friend a wonderful book, until I got to the page of a young woman smoking a cigarette with a sign around her neck saying Dead Girl!! Obviously ,I will not be sending the book to her. What a shame that one page, ruined the what otherwise was a clever idea! So here I sit with 2 books that I cannot share with anyone.

I bought this book for our Daughters 43rd Birthday. She loves Drew and hearts. It was a win win! She loves it!

I wanted to give this to a friend of mine as a gift -- and still intend to, but this book of photography is not very good. It was a great idea, but in some pictures it looked like she took it with her phone, making the book low quality. I'm pretty optimistic, and like I said - it was a great idea. Some pictures are really cute and made me smile.But when I give this gift, I'm going to pair it with another. I really like Drew Barrymore as a person and as an actress, so the last thing I want to do is offend her... It's not a bad idea to get it as a gift, like I did - or put it on display on a coffee table for guests to look at.

Drew Barrymore has been my inspiration and role model since i first saw her on E.T when i was 4 years old. I have followed her career and am her number one fan. I'm proud to say that my dream came true, May 2014 when i got the chance to meet her at the Blended premier in Los Angeles. She is a sweet and loving in person as she is on TV. This book is short but for those of you who appreciate the arts and photography. Its worth having! I see it every morning when i wake up and have my cup of coffee. <3

A really pretty little book - I gave it to my daughter for her birthday. Nice pictures, and make you stop to think about the signs that are in our lives everyday that there is magic and love everywhere.

Très beau livre, qui paraît simple mais très agréable à lire et regarder. Reflète bien l'esprit sympa de Drew Barrymore.

Das Buch enthält mehr oder weniger (ich würde sagen weniger) interessante Bilder auf denen ein Herz zu sehen ist, welches aus Alltagssituationen heraus entsteht/entstanden ist. Die Fotos sind ok, ich würde dieses Buch nicht noch einmal kaufen und auch nicht verschenken.
