New!!! Spring 2015 Limited Edition- Rainbow Magic Tail! Mermaids plus rainbows equals pure magic! She'll be enchanted when you reveal this breathtaking tail with hues of pink, blue, purple, green, and yellow. (I know because my daughter is six now and swears it's our prettiest tail yet!) A comfortable fit is ensured by sleek, stretchy sparkle spandex that will securely stay on your child with room to grow. An insert of flexible foam maintains the shape of the tail's tip, with a pocket for her feet to rest inside her flipper! For a more modest, no-fuss mermaid look, she'll want this one piece, full-length mermaid suit. As with the others, it's made of gorgeous, high quality spandex and the fit is very forgiving. We will attach a strap of elastic so it doesn't slip down. When the strap is not in use, just tuck it under to hide it away. This costume is designed to get wet - let her wear it in the bathtub or kiddie pool to play, as well as for adorable pictures! This tail does restrict movement, so children who wear it must be supervised even in shallow water. It is not meant for swimming or use in chlorinated water or on rough surfaces, as it damages the fabric. However, it's far more comfortable for long wear than the "swimmable" commercial costumes with swim fins in the tails. Hand-wash the mermaid tail and hang it to dry for the longest life of the costume. It dries best when hung with the tail end up and a sheet of plastic pressed into the foot pocket; this prevents the foam from sticking together while letting the spandex dry evenly. Each of our costumes is hand sewn with love in the U.S.A. and shipped quickly.
