ViewSonic PX701HD 1080p Projector, 3500 Lumens, SuperColor, Vertical Lens Shift, Dual HDMI, Enjoy Sports and Netflix Streaming with Dongle

So, I bought this projector back in June 2018 the first time for a church I worked for and they wanted to upgrade from their old one. And, idk why I waited so long to write a review. I am writing this now in August 2022 cause I was just talking to the current Video engineer for the church as he was asking for the link for this projector since they Wana buy another one. The pi ture quality is beyond amazing. Even with lights on in the church, (BRIGHT LED LIGHTS) you can still see clearly. I personally don't think it actually is 3600 Lumens, but it has to be at least 3000. The fan isn't loud either. Even tho it has one HDMI input, we were able to use a 4-way HDMI splitter to send the computer, the video camera switcher and the DVD to it. I can't speak on the built in speaker as we connected it directly to the sound system. Other than that, awesome projector to have. Lightweight, and easy to navigate thru as well. Definitely recommend for church, home use, or classroom use as well. Will update with picture later. Hopefully I can get one from them during the day.

I wanted a projector that could be used with the lights on to watch TV. This one works well and is from a long time trusted company. I bought my first computer monitor from viewsonic so they've been around for several years. Now the brightness is pretty good with the lights on, but of course with the lights off the picture is considerably better. Setup is easy. I hooked up my surround sound with an audio extractor after reading another users review. This works really well. I'm not a fan of the speaker with the projector. If you're using an audio extractor like me, I plugged in a 3.5mm audio cable into the back of the projector, but I didn't plug the other end in to anything. What this did was muted the projectors internal speaker. I noticed some folks complain that they had to turn the volume down everytime. This is an easy workaround so you don't have to adjust the volume ever again. That's if you plan to not use the projectors internal speaker just to be clear. We are very satisfied with the purchase.

I only used this projector for a few minutes. That being said, it seemed to be a fairly high-quality projector with a crisp, bright picture and quiet fan. The table mount was another nice feature. The only issue I had with the unit I ordered was the amount of heat it emitted. It was too hot for use in close proximity to the user (i.e., within a few feet). I imagine it would heat up any standard-sized bedroom or home office in a fairly short period of time. I returned the product for this reason.

I purchased this projector for a backyard movie night. It will project a high quality clear image, with clear focus corner to corner. Zero motion blur. No noticeable rainbow effects. Whites are white. Fan is super quiet. Very bright, but wait 30 minutes past sundown if using outdoors. Colors are very vivid. Black levels are iffy, so I wouldn't recommend for a top caliber home theater. Light and very portable. If you're looking for a budget projector, this is an excellent choice.

Great little backyard projector. Like most at this price point, it’s not powerful enough to overcome the sun but still has more oomph than others at this price or less. Once the sun starts setting it’s bright enough to see the picture and it only gets better as it gets darker. It was easy to mount this in our gazebo and get the unit all squared up to the screen and focused. I strongly recommend this as a backyard projector if you’re looking to not drop a boatload on one to leave outside all the time like I was. This projector and a Roku stick make a great little outdoor theater. I connected the projector to a Bluetooth amp via the 3.5mm audio output and some outdoor speakers for a great backyard movie experience.

I had read a previous review about how this projector was so clear at to the 3D image that it produces and I did not believe it. I thought that the lady was maybe exaggerating a little bit. When I set up the projector and hooked it up to my 3D Blu-ray player I could hardly believe myself. The lady had said that the image that she was viewing was as good if not better than the 3D Real-Dee that she saw at the theater. Well I am here to say that I agree with her analysis, I have seen dozens of movies all in 3D since I am a huge fan of Real D three D ,the technology is fantastic yet it seems to me that you can see a movie and the projector at the theater just doesn’t seem to be as clear as you may have expected it to be. The real great thing is you can turn the dial to get a clear picture. I presently do not own a screen but I happen to have a white wall that is open in my bedroom and I now have approximately a 100” screen and see no graininess unlike my passive 3D television with I also greatly appreciate of which I own 2. One caution is that if something doesn’t look quite right you may need to reverse the polarization basically invert the 3D image with the settings.

I was always leery of ViewSonic Monitors after I had a few fail, this was my first experience using a ViewSonic Projector and the difference is night and day. We have used a few other brands in the past but this thing beats them across the board. Picture quality is amazing for the price point, the inputs and outputs are phenomenal (it has a 5v powered usb, so handy, will power a chromecast or firestick) and it has audio outputs, because no one wants to listen to projector speakers. We set this up to run on a cheap 120" screen and it fills it great. I would recommend this over anything in its price range for Home or Office. We used this one in a training room. We have experience with about a dozen others and will primarily recommend this one in the future.

Ich suchte ewig nach einem geeigneten Beamer für ein kleines Schlafzimmer-Heimkino. Meine Voraussetzungen waren Full-HD, leiser Betrieb und helle Wiedergabe. Ich habe den Beamer an die Decke in ca. 2,55m Entfernung zu einer Leinwand montiert und bekomme so ein Bild von ca. 75", völlig ausreichend für abendliche Film-/Serienabenteuer. Der Beamer bietet ein tolles, scharfes und helles Bild (der Raum wird meistens halb abgedunkelt, normales Tageslicht geht auch, aber natürlich schlechter). Der Zoom-Bereich ist nicht sonderlich hoch, man sollte den Beamer also vor der Montage mal kurz an der vorgesehen Position halten und schauen ob das Bild ca. passt. Die digitale Trapezkorrektur funktioniert auch tadellos. Einige könnte es vielleicht stören, dass man den besagten "Rand" sieht, welcher dann nicht gerade verläuft. Hier einfach das Testbild aufrufen und mit diesem in den Einstellungen arbeiten, dann bekommt man das super hin! Er hängt ca. 2m über unseren Köpfen und ist wahrnehmbar, aber nicht störend. Ich betreibe das Gerät meistens im "Eco-Modus", hier ist er noch leiser als im Normalbetrieb und das Bild ist trotzdem noch hell und schön. Der eingebaute Lautsprecher ist OK, aber langfristig sollte man sich etwas anderes überlegen, dafür klingt die Sache einfach zu blechern und "handy-like". Auffällig und ein Rücksendegrund war kurzfristig, dass der Beamer nach dem Einschalten sehr laut ist, so als würde der Lüfter irgendwo streifen. Dieses Geräusch ist aber nach ein paar Minuten Betrieb wieder vollständig weg. Ich vermute einfach, dass dies auf einen "Kaltstart" zurückzuführen ist. Um diesen Preis bekommt man ein tolles Gerät, welches für mittlere Ansprüche völlig ausreicht! Wer ausschließlich mit einem Beamer TV oder Filme schaut sollte ohnehin in ein höherwertiges Gerät investieren. Für uns war ein Kriterium, dass wir mit Beamer/Leinwand/Soundsystem (2.0 JBL Boxen mit Mini-Amp via AUX 3,5mm) nicht über 600€ kommen. Durch einen Tages-Deal konnte ich den Beamber um knapp 420€ ergattern, ich hätte ihn aber auch um den Normalpreis gekauft. Kaufempfehlung!

Premetto che ho sempre aquistato proiettori con un massimo di spesa di 250€ che promettotto tanti lumen, bluetooth,wife, mirroring per connettere il telefono, inizialmente godibili ma dopo circa un anno presentavano tutti idelle macchioline sui lati dello schermo man mano andandosi a ingrandire fino a rendere la visione dei film impossibile.viewsonic non promette solo,come fanno molti,ma mantiene le caretterischice indicate immagini e colori veramente belle, la ventola per il raffreddamento e silenziosa,molte regolazioni per colore, sistema eco, super eco, eco Dynamic ecc ecc per avere un buon prodotto vale la pena spendere qualcosa in più invece di cercare la qualità in prodotti più economici che dopo un anno sono inutilizzabili.sodisfatto in pieno dell'aquisto.

Bueno pues llevo utilizándolo a todas horas desde hace 10 días y estoy bastante impresionado. He tenido un proyector Yabery30 lcd con unos "7000lumenes" , que luego equivaldría a unos 150 lúmenes Ansi, 1080p durante 2 años y estaba muy contento con el, pero ya sabemos que con el polvo y el tiempo que entra en estos proyectores acaban quemando la pantalla o las lentes y acabas teniendo una imagen amarillenta. Después de mucho mirar me decidí por este viewsonic pues tiene tecnología dlp y viene cerrada por lo que el polvo no afectará tanto, veremos con el tiempo. COSAS BUENAS DE ESTE PROYECTOR: -Brillo 3500 LUMENS ANSI aún con la ventana abierta a pleno sol la imagen y colores se ve perfecto. - Imagen full HD nítida de colores y rescalable a 4k sin notar esos píxeles redimensionados. - es perfecto para colocar en marcó fijo por su marco negro. - colocandole un firestick puedes conectarlo a cualquier parte. COSAS MALAS: - Corrección trapezoidal (no dispone de corrección horizontal). - Muchas de las opciones del menú no se pueden utilizar o vienen como apagadas. - El altavoz es una patata! Pero no creo que para ver la tele o escuchar pelis vayas a poner el del proyector, curratelo un poquito y cómprale unos altavoces decentes, la experiencia cambiará por completo. - Siempre tendrás un Marco negro alrededor de la pantalla, este no se puede quitar pues es el fondo, si tienes una pantalla enrrollable siempre se te verá un marco por fuera de la pantalla por lo que es mejor proyectar en pantalla fija. - El zoom en realidad es un enfoque por que tampoco aumenta en gran medida la pantalla, tiene tmb un zoom interno en el menú , que este si nos aumentará el tamaño de la pantalla pero respetando siempre entrar dentro de su marcó negro dejando unos 9cm y medio por cada lado de marco negro que nunca llegará a llenarse. Por todo lo demás decirte que tendrás un muy buen proyector si estás decidido a cambiar de LCD a DPL la calidad es asombrosa y si que se nota muchísimo el cambio, cogelo siempre con resolución nativa 1080p o más pues menos se verán siempre los pixeles.

Received the projector, working good, will review it later, dealer promised amazon fire stick, I have registered for the same as per instructions on box but no confirmation or information so far, will update on receipt of same. Still no sight of promised Amazon fire stick, nobody contacted for the same. Edit: received fire stick, the projector is wonderful, the picture quality is amazing but the dark room is essential to enjoy the show
