These are really cute and easy to work with. I hand paint Christmas ornaments. I found they were easy to use, held the paint well and went on easily. Great for crafts!

Great for crafts! Flat, smooth surfaces great for painting. Writing is good too but you have to be careful because the wood grain may cause you to make a mistake if you're writing. Bought these on three separate occasions and haven't received and cracked or broken. Used a heat gun to emboss on these and found they warp a bit.

I’ve bought these now twice - the first box was near perfect. One of the ornaments was missing bark on one side. The second box 4 of the ornaments have cracks and are missing bark so they won’t work for what I’m using them for. They are very easy to use otherwise. Great value for the price. Thick and nice overall. The faces aren’t overly rough. Easy to paint or decoupage.

I buy a lot of different wood for projects and ordered these to make Christmas ornaments. Usually when buying wood one or two pieces are subpar but every single one of these pieces has the bark intact and every piece is in good condition. Will be ordering more in various sizes.

I was a little disappointed when I opened the box and saw that four pieces were cracked. I get they are cheap especially since I bought the 30 pack, but I now have 4 pieces that I can’t use. Other than that the pieces are really nice and the lines from the grain came out really well. They also shipped really fast.
