That depends on conditions in your tank.With right conditions they grow in population.However mandarins eat hundreds of these pods so they might eat faster than pod population reproduces.I always supplement the tank with more tisbe pods every couple of months. I also have trained my mandarins to eat frozen cyclops in addition to live food. Atlantic pods are always great quality so I'm regular customer

I got the 3000 tisbe pods and under a flashlight I only see 3 swimming. The rest are still. Is this a doa bottle?

Take a pic as proof of you can and they will replace if you contact them. Sometimes you have to let them warm up a little if they shipped and it was cold out. Good luck.
