Review: A very hefty, survivable badge holder - I've been using this badge holder for a few months now and I really like it. The pros: I feel like my badge is very well protected from wear and breakage, which was my reason for purchasing it. My badge is very readable through the clear cover and I don't have any problems with prox readers. The loop at the top is very strong so I'm not worried about my badge breaking off (at least from this holder) during the day. The downside: it is unusually heavy (so you might want to wear a thicker lanyard since this weighs on the neck) and the weight of the holder has definitely degraded my retractable clasp so that it doesn't fully retract anymore, so I will have to look for a better retractable clasp than the one I've been using in order to support this holder's weight for 9 hrs a day. The top loop is also not a standard size, so your standard clear badge buttons that come on most retractable clasps and lanyards won't fit in it. Not even close. You will definitely need something thinner to attach this to your lanyard. That said, it is very easy to use. It is very clear. It will hold your id/badge. It looks nice. What is the size?** A: It holds a credit card size badge. I currently have my work ID (size of a credit card), my door key (size of a credit card, but thicker) and a card that comes with it so the pieces fit snug and won’t fall out. About 2 1/4 x 3 1/2. **Q: Could I store business cards in it?** A: Yes you could put several types of cards in it. I have my building access card, my id, my credit card in mine. So a few business cards shouldn't be a problem but the are smaller.
