Cost effective upgrade
This is the 3rd pair of these that I've bought and they're great. I am not a fan of the amber turn lens in the domestic e36's so this is one of the first things I upgrade when I get a new one. Definitely save your originals because some folks like the OEM style better.

Fitment
Fit great, but the bulb sockets look like melted plastic not the greatest fitment but it works, could be a cleaner cut. But for the price they are great.

Really nice fitment and finish. You can’t tell the difference between these and Euro tails.

plastic around the bulb housings is questionable
installing the bulbs into the housings was really a challenge, seemed the plastic was too thick in some spots and just wasn’t molded properly. another issue i’ve run into is the left side brake light no longer works after the install, and i’ve been able to confirm it’s isolated to the tail light itself, the bulb is good and all wiring up until the light assembly is good. other than those two things they look great on the car and that alone i’ll give a few stars for

Terrible do not buy these
These taillights will not give charge to all the bulbs or the bulbs will come lose no matter how hard to try. Spent a too much time making them fit because the install holes seem to be melted from heat. Do NOT buy these they are an absolute waste. Got a fix it ticket for a left hand turn signal not working (because it fell out of the horribly molded tail light) spend the money and buy something better.

Decent for the price
Some reviews complained about the quality of the plastic or electrical connections, but the set I received was fine. Decent quality and in better shape then my 20+ year old brittle factory ones. The weather strip/rubber around the housing was kind of thick and made it hard to bud up against the body of the car, I’m going to replace it with some thinner rubber. But still happy for the price.
