This works great!
This device does a great job. After 18 years of having to roast outside, I treated myself to a Behmor 2000AB. Iโm now roasting under the powerful Vent-a-Hood in my Kitchen. The Behmorโs maximum roast size is 1 lb. This device will cool 1 lb. of beans in 2 1/2 to 4 minutes. It traps all of the chaff from the roasted beans in a screen under the removable basket, which is easily vacuumed up after the roast. If the fan ever stops working itโs no big deal, itโs a standard fan used to cool off computers, a $20 replacement. The DC power supply is probably equally inexpensive. I normally wouldnโt go to the trouble of leaving a review, but Iโm so pleased with this that I decided I would.

Cools fast, removes chaff
I have been roasting for 6 months and have used a fan and a colander to create a cooling device, but it usually takes more than 5 minutes in the Texas heat. 2 problems to solve, cool beans under 4 minutes and remove chaff. Set up is easy, set the cooler on a flat surface, find a wall plug, attach the plug to the cooler. I roasted 230 grams of beans, which final weight is around 188g. It feels like you could cool 8 oz up to 16 oz of coffee. (230 - 460 grams) I stirred the beans (see video) to move them and cool faster. I was able to get them cooled in less than 90 seconds! The material is metal and nicely put together. The interior is stainless and easy to clean. It's not very heavy, but the fan is noisy. I don't care much about the noise as I had a fan already for my previous method. For the job it does, it's a small item to deal with. The chaff collector under the basket has a mesh layer so that doesn't get into the fan. You can dump out the chaff after you finish the cooling cycle. I was not able to get 100% of the chaff out, but you can move your beans around on the wire basket and it will move some more out, just do that over a trash can or sink. Overall, this well exceeded my expectations and I am able to cool the beans at the stage I want to more efficiently. This is a must get for home roasters looking for a faster cooling method.

Efficient and Consistent Post Roast Cooling
This coffee bean cooler provides rapid and uniform cooling, effectively stopping roast development and preserving flavor integrity. Airflow is strong and well distributed, allowing beans to reach ambient temperature quickly while separating chaff efficiently. Solid build, easy operation, and ideal capacity for home and small-batch roasting. A reliable tool for precise roast control.

Very effective cooling, high quality and easy to maintain
Excellent coffee bean cooler! I roast with a Quest M3s; this machine cools the beans much faster, with much less bean stirring, than using Quest's setup of putting the drop box into the back fan compartment. It also simplifies the process of doing multiple roasts, one after the other. I compared this Dyvee machine to the Jiawanshun cooler. I was biased toward the Jiawanshun because of the separate chaff tray, but there was really no comparison. The Dyvee is solid, fan is much more powerful, tray looks like it is made of stainless steel, like the Quest roaster, and a surprising amount of chaff is left sitting on top of the lower screen, easily vacuumed off. The Jiawanshun is not stainless, the trays fit tightly together (difficult to separate), and the fan was surprisingly gutless. Note that the Dyvee fan is an easily replaceable 120x120x38mm computer fan (FF12038H12B). I can't confirm that it is really 240CFM, as I can't find the brand of this fan for sale online. Note also that the air flow was greatly increased by cutting a hole in the surface underneath the fan (see photo). I generally avoid Chinese products on Amazon, as they are often cheap junk. Of the many Amazon purchases I have made, this is my first review. Great product!

Works good and fast, easy to clean. Just wish it didn't cost as much as it does.
Ok, been using this for a while now. I love this thing so much! Perfect size for a pound of coffee (I love metric but live in the States so...) This does such a great job of cooling down coffee beans so quickly, and sucks out most of the chaff... Makes roasting coffee much less of a chore! Definitely worth the money! Old review - Even though I wish the cost of this was less, it did a great job cooling down a pounds worth of fresh roasted coffee. It was fast, and near effortless. Also, dang easy to clean! Just wish it was cheaper... I'll keep using this and return to add to this review after I've used it for a while.

Absolutely worth it
I'm a home roaster and thought I could tough it out with a colander over a fan outside. That got old quickly. This contraption has been a very worthwhile purchase. The fan points downward, so it pulls ambient air over the beans to cool them (very quickly) and remove chaff. With a ~200g roast it will cool them down in about 3 minutes tops. I use a spatula to stir the beans as they cool; this allows thorough spot-checking for any over-roasted beans to dispose of before storing, as well as scraping away loose chaff. Highly recommend this for any small-scale roaster!

Cools beans in a minute flat
The good: This imparts so much more flavor in the beans when they cool rapidly. This things cools very fast, like less than a minute to outside temp. Awesome. The metal body of the cooler is nice quality and appears to be powder coated? Bean tray is also higher quality. Overall Iโm impressed with the build quality of it, definitely better than I was expecting. Has handled larger batches, so far Iโve run 400g batches through it and still had a little room in the top for more beans. Should be able to do a pound (453g). The bad: so weird, and the only reason it didnโt get 5 stars from me- the fan blades hit the edge of the interior of the fan surround and made a terrible sound. I took the guard off and sanded down the plastic body responsible for contacting the blades and no more problem. The chaff from the beans slows air flow at the inlet to the fan, seems like if there was another screen before it would work better. Iโll update with longevity/ reliability as I use it more.

Better than expected
I read a couple of reviews stating the fan is not that strong. I thought that too until I placed a piece of paper over the basket while it was running and it really sucked it down. I roasted small batches of coffee of 150g and it will completely cool a batch in less than 60 seconds, itโs really amazing. It works so much faster than the dual cooling fans on my Kaleido M1. Iโve used it about 9 times and so far so good.
