I ordered these for a recent road trip to the Great Smoky Mountains with my daughters - ages six and eight. We bring along movie screens for the longer stretches of driving but since we were planning to do multiple day trips, I wanted them to actually SEE the scenery and not just the 4683rd visit to Airendale.I was a little apprehensive to order as others seem to have received different styles and you can't select the version you wind up with. I was lucky and received 3 matching road bingo cards. The items they're hunting for are pretty straight forward and recognizable (speed sign, police car, school bus) and these cards kept the girls entertained. The little sliding window/screen tab thingies (do these have a real name?) worked just fine. They stayed down when they were supposed to and stayed out of the way as well.I don’t see us getting a ton of use out of them day to day but we will absolutely pull them out for the next road trip!

Classic travel bingo
Not only to the colors vary, but the type of card varied. I got two auto bingo and one road safety bingo. It didn't work so well with 3 players because the roads traveled were not suited to both types at the same time. It didn't take long to figure out which card would win on a given road (A good fight starter -- if that's what you are looking for on your road trip!) Order more than 3 if you have more than 2 kids, or if you want to play along.

Great "busy" toy for in the car
As we prepared for a road trip last year, I went in search of some travel-related activities for my children to do in the car. They are ages 3, 5, 10, and 14. The youngest three absolutely LOVE this game. In fact, they play it anytime they notice it in the car, even on the way to the grocery store. It keeps them busy looking and thinking, instead of fighting and whining about being bored. The pictures are cute and vintage. It's durable and fun.

Fun for road trips
These served their purpose. We were taking a family vacation driving from NY to Florida and thought I should probably come up with some activities for the kids to do on their way. We didn't use them as much as I thought but when they were used, the kids had a good time. Some of the items on the card were actually quite hard for them to find.Con: They seem a little on the cheap side to me. I know I played with similar when I was a kid and maybe I just don't remember right... but I don't recall them felling so cheap.

Live with what we get
I was disappointed with our travel BINGO becaause it is the license one. Good thing we live in military area because we did find a lot of differenct licenses. We were expecting the other travel BINGO which was find different items. since we didn't get. We mad due and my daught actually got a BINGO before me.

Broke Quickly
My kids played this game one time, I stored it in the center console of my car, and when we went to play it again, most of the red sliding tabs had stuck open and I wasn't able to get them closed again. It will take me a lot more time and energy (and possibly a knife) to pry those little suckers closed. Not worth it.

Can't Choose What You Get
I was kind of let down. I was expecting the symbols to look like a barn, a cow, a red car etc.., because that is what I initially saw in the pictures when I decided to purchase--mostly because my children are 2.5 and 6 and that would be easy for them to play. Instead I received road signs, which requires reading and since many road signs look the same with arrows to a small child- we couldn't play this game at all.The quality overall is decent- though my 2.5 year old boy had this entire thing destroyed in 2 mins before I could even see what was happening. It's made out of cardboard so they will bend/break/crease. The windows will slide back and forth if you dont keep them flat, which could mess your game in progress.

A winner!
I already know these will be a success with my grandkids. It helps kids pass the time and extends the intervals between them asking "how much longer." My kids didn't have portable DVD players in their day, so there's a lot to amuse kids these days, and sadly today's kids have come to expect entertainment. These are admittedly low tech things but they will involve you with them instead of letting them mindlessly amuse themselves seeing a movie they already saw. It will also engage them with their ever-changing surroundings, can be educational, and of course it engenders a contest. [Everybody wins]
