Best choice for rescue gloves.
The best rescue gloves out there! The dexterity is amazing. You get all the protection you can get without sacrificing comfort. Totally worth its value for money and more. Will get another pair as a spare.

Great extrication gloves
Love these gloves. I use them for extrication and whatever else I feel like using them for. The functionality of them is great. I’ve banged my knuckles so many times in them and they keep my hands from getting all banged up. They are decently thick have great cut resistance also all over the glove. Would recommend for any firefighter or extrication technician.

Break in
They are stiff and feel a bit smaller than regular hex Armour ext gloves but they break in and feel similar over time.

A little stiff
A little stiff, even after some break-in time. But they are otherwise good gloves.

Something firefighters actually use!
My brother recently became a volunteer firefighter after lengthy training, on top of his full-time job as an engineer. I needed to get him a Christmas gift and as usual, I was stumped. He’s impossible to buy for as he doesn’t like “clutter” and has the means to buy whatever he wants. (Engineers!) Fortunately, he was very pleased with them. (In a typical older brother way: “wow, she actually got me something good!”) These gloves are legit serious technical equipment. There are several different types and model numbers, so be sure to read the descriptions carefully. He said that the team does a lot more than “run into burning buildings”: there are many calls for car accidents, etc., so he thinks he’ll use them and they weren’t part of the kit he received, so he didn’t already have them. He’s 6’4” and slim: the XL’s fit perfectly. They also come with a nylon zippered carrying case/bag, which might be nice to use to keep them together (easy to find) in his gear bag, but I suspect that he won’t bother. Still, it’s a nice touch. NOTE: these are NOT fire-proof gloves, these are extraction gloves. There IS a difference. Don’t think you can use these at a grill or fire-pit or wood stove and stick your hand in the fire! These are for working around the shattered glass of windows, twisted metal, etc., without getting your fingers and palms shredded. Again, it pays to read the description carefully. Don’t get me wrong: when I put in the search for firefighter equipment, I immediately assumed they were fire-proof, but nowhere in the actual description do they make that claim. Be advised.

Expensive mistake
At first these gloves seemed very durable and ready to provide years of work. I ran into a problem after one class the inside liner started to delaminate from the outer shell. Every time I take off the gloves the whole liner comes out and makes it nearly impossible to get back in. Very poor return and replacement policy. I am now stuck with useless gloves.

Good for certain line of work but not everyday lifting.
Pros: great for outdoor work e.g. shoveling snow, ward work, handling of wood, and constructive. Cons: fell apart in less than a month of consistent use in warehouse lifting packages while working for UPS loading trucks. Not the best choice.
