760w amp
I have 2 of these in my mustang. One drives a pair of 12' pioneer dual voice coil subs wired 2ohms in the hatch and have never had an overheating problem! The second amp is in the hatch but drives a pair of 8" Pioneer DVC subs wired 2 ohms in the doors. The 8s sound almost like a snare ( the factory paper ones did not). The amps preform wonderfully. I have a Premier (Pioneer) cd head unit with Pioneer 4 ways in the doors by the subs and Pioneer 2 way speakers in the back seat. There is only one major downfall with my system! I don't always hear the radar detector :( I've been stuck on Pioneer for many years and have tried others here and there but none match up to Pioneers longevity and quality!

Very good amp
i have this hooked up on one channel pushin a DCM 12 and it shakes EVERYTHING on my 01' cavalier. the max on my sub is 500 so i dont have the amp bridged but it still hits extremely hard. deff reccomend to anyone on a tight budget.

Pioneer GM-5400T car amp
I found the best price & product description for this item on Amazon. I was comparing the unit to several Pioneer amps. I wanted a complete Pioneer system in my car so that all the components would be designed to work together. At 760 watts, it was double what I really needed to "bump" my Pioneer sub. I found that this unit was more versatile for a few more dollars then a smaller-mono amp and even though it is a 2-way amp, it could be wired mono or 2-channel? The instructions were easy to follow. Finding a location was difficult, it would not fit under the seats of my car. I ened up moving to the rear of my S.U.V. I used a Scorsh amp install kit from Walmart, it was the cheapest place to get an wiring kit that had all the stuff I needed to get my amp powered up. The unit does just want I needed it to do & is more versatile then what I was origingally going to buy. The only downer was having to locate the amp in the rear of the S.U.V. The amp install kit had plenty of wire from battery to amp to get the job done.

Its ok for the price
I got this 3 days ago its a ok amp the only problem i have with the amp is it overheats very very fast Im not even pushing it hard or anything I have the bass boost at 0 and the gain at normal. I only have one Sub on it, its a MTX 10inc Jack Hammer and it still overheats like crazy and I don't like that I don't want to tests its limits because it overheats so fast I don't want to burn it

Absolutely perfect
Have had this for a year now and no complaints! produces the exact amount of power i need for my sub. i use it bridged to run one 12" sub and it sounds amazing! Overheats from time to time but i think i just have it poorly ventilated...

Surprised Dissapointment
I bought this amp a year ago and the guy who installed it told me it tends to overheat. I only had it pushing one 12" square mtx and now since the weather got warm the amp has continuously shut down due to overheating and now has burned out for good. I am kind of upset I have always had good luck with pioneer products and the amp sounded good when it wasnt shorting out. So unless you are looking for a nice amp for low power I would stay away from this product.

Great Amp for cheap
This amp is awesome. Its currently powering a 12" L5 Kicker, and it bumps real hard. The Kicker is RMS at 700 and max at 1200, but this 760 MAX amp still makes it move. Very impressed.
