ANNA SUI Black Rouge - Pink Red Color Changing Lip Color - Tinted Lipstick with Rose Scent - 0.14 oz.

This is a very long lasting color on the lips, and my go-to if I know I'll be out of the house and it'll be hard to do a touch up. I wouldn't call this a red, as it's more of a deep, bright pink that borders on red. Despite its magenta/berry/pink tone, it will look lovely on people who enjoy wearing reds due to the depth of its color. In the tube, the inner color appears bright red and is a very pigmented formula. The outer ring appears black, but will swatch a very sheer berry shade. The two shades come together on the lips to create a unique color. I almost always use my fingertips to blend the colors out on my lips. If applied directly from the tube onto the lips, I never need to add more of the inner red shade; I'll add a bit more of the "black" outer formula to help blend or to adjust the color slightly. This formula feels light on the lips and does not contribute to dryness (if anything, it helps moisturize a bit). My lips often feel the same or better after a day of wear. It's not a thick or heavy formula and may transfer some pigment onto a coffee cup, but not nearly as much as most other products. Your lips will feel as soft and silky as a flower petal once this lipstick has been applied. The packaging is a hard, sturdy black plastic with plenty of little details. The tube will stand upright on three little feet, and looks lovely on display. The lipstick has a very fresh, slightly sweet rose scent and no notable flavor. Despite having so many products from high end brands, this outperforms in many ways. 11/10

I am a huge fan of Anna Sui and I have tried a lot of her items. This is one of my favorites. The shape is so pretty upon opening the tube and I love the rose scent. The shade is a very nice red that looks great on my alabaster skin tone. if you want a sheer wash of burgundy/purple you can just use the black on the outside. If you want to go full red it is not heavy and isn't sticky. There is a slight staining effect that I really like a lot and like most other lipsticks it will last till you eat.

Color is not bad, however the lipstick has a very strong rose perfume smell that is somewhat overpowering and lingers for a very long time after application.

I absolutely love this lipstick! Its red color is beautiful and its extremely moisturizing so it feels amazing to wear. It also smells beautifully of roses, like naturally of roses. It does transfer color, so probably no make out sessions if your wearing this one😉 This is a great lipstick. I highly recommend it
