Well People Power Palette Eyeshadow, Taupe

I adore Well People cosmetics! A few years back, I switched most of my makeup to clean makeup and Well People was repeatedly recommended. This eyeshadow palette is gorgeous, especially for brown eyes. The texture of the eyeshadows are amazing and super easy to apply, whether you’re using your finger or using a brush. I have three different eyeshadow palettes by this brand, and the first one I purchased is still holding on strong a few years later. If you are looking for a company that has sustainable and clean makeup products, look no further. This pallet is versatile and honestly lasts all day if you know how to apply it correctly. I will use this brand to the day I die!

I started having swollen, itchy red eyes last summer. It continued for months in spite of trips to the eye MD, allergy meds and spending a small fortune on different makeups, soaps and cleansers. I was afraid I would have to stop eye makeup all together. I tried Well People eye shadow after reading the reviews and am so glad I did! No more burning and my eyes are finally back to normal. I am slowing changing much of my makeup over to this brand. The colors are highly pigmented and very little is needed to achieve my desired look. I do wish they had single eye colors though since I tend to use more of certain colors. It would also be nice to have just a matte pallet.

The colors are pretty and it tends to stay in place for a bit. It will wear away though by the end of the day. One of the darker colors is more red than brown for my liking, but otherwise great palette!

I have two color pallets - the Sepia and the Amethyst. I’ll be honest, when I purchased the first one (a year ago) I was not super thrilled. I felt like the fallout was too much, and while I was working to keep makeup dust cleaned off of my cheeks I was simultaneously fighting to get it to stick and show up on my eyelids. I used it once or twice and decided it wasn’t for me. At $20, I couldn’t just toss the first pallet so it sat with others I had tried but didn’t love. I really wanted to love this eyeshadow, so I held on to it. I settled on another brand that was easier to pick up on a brush and apply. But my eyes felt tired all the time with a mild burning (in other words, I was allergic). Throw in a few months of depression and very infrequent make up application, once I did start to wear (other brand) again, the eye irritation led me to experiment. One day - wear just my primer (Pacifica). No burning, okay cool. Next day, wear just my mascara (Physicians Formula). Cool, cool. No burning. Then a day of the other brand of eyeshadow - gah! That’s the culprit! Ugh. And that brings us to my trying the Well People eyeshadow again. This time I used my primer, which I did not use the first time I tried it. I used different brushes, and it went on so rich and beautiful. Having wasted plenty of money on other brands of “natural/clean” eyeshadows I can honestly tell you: Well People - Rich pigments. Easy application with correct brushes. Long wear, even on a big farm with an active lifestyle. Easy blending. Beautiful shades for green eyes (can only speak to Amethyst and Sepia). Extremely MINIMAL fall out compared to any others I have tried. Brushes and primer help. There are not enough clean products on the market, hands down. This is an excellent one.

Great pigmentation and with a good lid primer the eyeshadow lasts all day! No irritation, and very lightweight.

This shade was way too warm for my liking. I was hoping for a true taupe, but it pulled very orange on my skin tone. The formula itself is nice and applies smoothly, but the color just didn’t match what I expected based on the listing. I do love that it’s a low tox brand, which is really important to me, but the shade missed the mark for me. If you like warmer tones this could work better for you.

Beautiful everyday colors 😍 especially for fall 🍂🍁

I wish it came with another color for highlighting. The frosty colors go on smoother than the matte colors.
