I add raisins and walnuts. Mmmm!
Tasty oats. I like the consistency when I use milk and water 50/50. A good treat!

Creamy porridge
This is creamier than rolled oats, tastes more like what I had in New Zealand. Easy to make and tastes great!

Such a treat for breakfast.
Other than in Ireland, best oat porridge I’ve ever had! I’m sure it’s not the healthiest with all the milk I add, but it’s SO GOOD!!! Stir it according to directions and you won’t be disappointed. Even my visiting relatives said it was the best oatmeal they’ve ever had. It’s creamy and satisfying. I’ve never done the overnight oats with it so I’m not really sure how it would come out. I think what makes it taste so good is the stirring technique and the milk. I don’t even really like oatmeal that much but this one I could eat every day.

A household favorite
My wife and I have tried just about every brand of oatmeal out there. We tend to prefer Scottish or Irish style or rolled oats rather than steel cut, There are amazing oatmeals out there (for the longest time we used almost exclusively Bob's Redmill). The Flahavan's Irish Porridge oats have become a favorite. Not only does it have great oat taste and a creamy texture but is easy to prepare. After bringing the oatmeal to a boil, it takes only three minutes of stir and simmer to finish. Our mornings tend to be hectic and a fast and delicious is always welcome. There are two small downsides. One sticking point is that it is a little bit on the expensive side. You probably depending on the size of the order will probably pay a little more than you might for a similar quantity of, for example, Quaker Oats or McCann's steel cut oats. The other issue is that the packaging is really less than ideal It seems like some kind of coated paper package. The top folds out and you need to carefully pry apart the glued top of the package to spoon or pour out the contents. I reckon I go about 70-30 on successfully opening packages without ripping hole in the top of the package where the clue defies separating. In that 30% of the time when I do rip the packaging, pouring the oatmeal into a measuring cup or container for storage becomes messy. Scattering some of the oatmeal onto the kitchen counter or floor becomes pretty common at least until we have consumed enough to make cutting down the packaging below the rips. While I might lay some of the blame on my relative lack of manual dexterity, I still think most users will have experienced difficulty opening the package from time to time. I suppose on the upside, it would make the packaging a quite a bit hard to tamper with. Notwithstanding those small downsides, it is certainly an oatmeal we enjoy. They do make a steel cut but I have never tried it. So even those who prefer steel cut might want to try that.

The only porridge oats you'll ever need
If you love porridge, these are the only oats you'll ever need. These are Irish oats, for porridge, they are not thick and chewy like regular oats. When you cook them they make the absolutely most creamy porridge oats, we take ours of course with a teaspoon of brown sugar and a pat of butter and some Farm milk. 8-year-old granddaughter and I do this for a Saturday morning ritual, I always have to make a large go because she's always asking for more. These are delicious delicious oats

Over-priced.
Love these porridge oats, but not the price. These can be bought from Morrisons for £1.25 for the same size.

Heaven In a bowl
Gorgeous porridge, have purchased many times in the past and great to know I can get it from Amazon . A lovely creamy porridge with a good wholesome taste, you are full after completing your bowl. If you dare 😉 add some golden granulated sugar and if you've made it up initially with water swirl a little evaporated milk, pure heaven in a bowl 🙂
