I have been trying to reduce the amount of plastic packaging for toiletries I used and also the chemical content. I had previously used a balm that came in a glass jar. It was disappoint as it didn’t seem to provide deodorant protect. This product does. It’s brilliant. The fragrance is lovely but not too heavy. The stick moves feeling in the cardboard tube and is easy to use. I’m very pleased I made the switch. Slightly baffled why amazon suggest I score it for ‘warmth’ ! An update on this deodorant. Sadly I now have intensely armpits with pimples. I’ve not had this before and never considered my armpits sentive. So sadly I’ve got to try something else. I’m disappointed as I like the texture, the smell and the packaging.

I’ve been using it for a few weeks now and find it to be fairly effective, I’m planning to try a few different ones and compare them. My main criticism would be that I’ve not got long fingers so now I’m down to the last inch of the stick I’ve had to find something to push the block up on the inside of it as its literally a solid block in a cardboard tube with cardboard bit at the bottom. No complaints about the cardboard, just a point if you’ve got little hands like me. Top Tip for using this as well I’ve read from other people- after you’ve washed leave your underarms wet and it goes on much better without feeling like you’re dragging it across your skin, it actually feels like a regular roll on if you leave your skin wet. All in all I like it.

This has been by far the best natural deodorant I’ve used so far. I’ve found many others to not last long or perform well. This has lasted me 6 months! The scent is really nice (sandlewood and bergamot) also, and the value for money is great. One thing i found was the feel is quite grainy but it doesn’t bother me. The stick can be a little fiddly as comes back down when the lid is put back on, but that’s a small niggle. would recommend

Thought I'd try going aluminium-free with my deodorant, so bought this. The scent is subtle and pleasant. All cardboard packaging. After one day's use it seemed to be doing a good job. Went to apply a second application on day 2 to find a rash in my pits. At the end of the day, the rash is still there and sore to the touch. Not a great reaction. I've used similiar products in the past without any side effects. Disappointing.

Love the smell and the concept of this product. It's hard to push up the base, especially after you've had it a while as it pushes up further than I could comfortably reach with my fingers - and if you have long nails, no chance. I ended up putting a lip stick down the tube to push it through. The product itself is quite hard (I used it between September and January and my house is quite cold, so YMMV) and has a grainy texture, which can make it difficult to apply - and if you've just shaved your underarms it feels like you're rubbing sandpaper on them. It can also be quite crumbly so you have to watch out for dropping bits over the floor, although if you're able to catch the bits and rub them onto your body they melt quite quickly and disappear. It cost me £9 and lasted for 4.5 months with light/moderate use (winter months so I wasn't sweating too much). Not sure how that compares to a conventional deodorant. Overall a nice product but too hard to use, so I'm now looking for an alternative design. Would get an extra star if they changed the package design so it was easier to push up/access the product during use.

This deodorant feels like an exfoliant. It’s texture is gritty and rough, it’s uncomfortable to use and leaves my underarms feeling sore. Once applied it does well as a natural deodorant and smells nice. Not the best but better than some I’ve tried. Would not buy again due to its texture, avoid if you have sensitive underarms. YOUR nature needs to change the consistency of the deodorant or change the ad to reflect the product. The sentence ‘organic arrowroot allows our deodorant to roll onto your skin’, is definitely not an accurate description.

This a repeat buy for me. There are a couple of scents I especially like. They have the advantage of both keeping the sweat at bay and not causing a skin reaction which most brands inevitably do eventually. Not these - my skin seems fine with this brand. I would highly recommend for both function and gentleness on the skin. They come in a cardboard tube with the only plastic being the mount for the stick so huge added bonus environmently too.

I was quite sceptical at the beginning as the scent was subtle, nothing I got used to using all the other, heavy perfumed deodorants. After a while of using it I started to sweat more and it felt quite unpleasant... I started using my ordinary deodorant again and then I realised...it stopped working! I was smelly as anything, good heavens... Then I gave the natural deodorant a chance and, to my surprise, the smell was gone! I thing my armpits were adjusting to less chemicals and now everything is fine. The only thing is that the packaging gets greasy from the oils that are in the stick so it does not look neat and tidy after a while but there have to be some compromises with the eco packaging. I will never go back to a store bought deodorant again!
