Fits fine

I bought these to stop the smell we had coming from our drainage pipe in the washer room. It was easy to install and worked pretty good, but there was still a little gap around the hose so I added some silicone to really seal it up. After doing more research & realizing that smell was Hydrogen Sulfide coming back into our house? A serious gas that could actually kill you over time? I just decided to fix the problem but cutting the wall open to observe the actual problem which I could immediately see was a vent line that bypassed the P-Trap going to the sewer line. Again, this is a serious issue because if you can smell it? Even once in a while, that means those gasses are seeping back into the house 24/7. You just can’t smell it all the other days, & this gas can make you very sick or even kill you. I started to develop a lupus type butterfly rash on my face from these gasses that immediately went away once the main problem was corrected. I posted some pics of where the problem was for all of you who wanted to see. Hope this helps-

Just the thing I needed. Not air tight but secure enough to prevent back spray and odor. Cheap price for the amount received. The pack of 3 should last me a life time.

Installed this to create a seal for my washer to prevent sewage methane from entering the house. However, the material is a bit too soft, and the inner opening doesn’t form a complete seal with the drain pipe. Will try using caulk to improve it."

I have a new washer and the hose is much smaller that my previous one. There was a gap around the hose and insects and other pest could get in to this area. This product was exactly what I needed and a perfect fit!

Since using this product my last room doesn’t stink like sewage. And it was very easy to install.

They do work, keeps the noise down quite a bit

I thought it would fit but it is not very rubber it is silicon it is a bit rigid can't make it expand The washing machine hose is too skinny to fit tight in it The kitchen sink pipe was too big to fit in it, it stopped at the inner edge and I couldn't flex it to expand around it
