When I purchased this, I was planning on gifting it to my son's 3rd grade teacher. When it arrived, he (my son) had to inspect and decided he wanted to keep it instead. Every night since we have received it, he uses it. He takes it to the table and learns from it. He's been asking me A LOT of questions about geography that I just dont remember... Luckily, our Alexa can answer them for him! The globe is not as large as the ones I remember from grade school, but it's a nice size for the house. It has a magnifying glass with it, which is nice for the smaller countries. I would recommend this as a study aid for sure!

I purchased this globe for my son-in-law. A job promotion/birthday gift. Its addition to his desk transformed his no-nonsense office into such a classy environment that the children WANT to do their homework (if they can do it at Dad's desk). World geography is more and more important in understanding our planet's affairs. The magnifier is a very clever touch. I have a nephew who doesn't know it, but he'll receive one for his birthday, too.

My daughter loves globes new and old. This one has a magnifying glass, which allows you to see the fine detail on the maps. Just as described and gorgeous as you see in the pictures.

Almost ALL the country borders are misaligned. Some of the country names and city names are cut off. I would never get this again. My 6 year old would have done a better job with a $5 DIY from the dollar store. Definitely NOT worth the price. Terrible workmanship. Looks nice for about 15 ft away. Any closer than that and its as terrible as the grinch.

It's an OK globe but where the seems come together the map items do not line up correctly. There's a shift. Also, it does not spin freely. You have to hold the base down and inch the globe to turn. Not real high quality, IMO.

I got this to give to my mother for Christmas and I think it's perfect.

I bought this globe as a gift for my husband for Christmas. It looked like a great globe and had decent reviews. I'm very disappointed that the country border lines do not match up. My husband is easy to please, but is very frustrated that this product is being sold as it is. The lines should match up for the kind of money we paid. I always have good luck with Amazon and so wasn't thinking about having to return it and bought it early so now I can't return it because it's been to long. If you are looking for an educational tool or something authentic, I would look elsewhere.

The globe was delivered timely and was packaged properly. Good quality.

The globe box came open. Seems it was a return and sent as new some part’s already together and looks like it has used marks definitely not anywhere worth the money I am returning sadly
