Klein Tools 56403 LED Light, Rechargeable Flashlight/Worklight with Kickstand, Magnetic Mount, and Carabiner, Charges Small Electronics, for Work, Camping

This Klein Tools flashlight is great. The light is very bright, and the magnet and clip make it very easy to mount. I like having multiple options of how to mount it. It is also a good size, which makes it easy to hold in the hand and easy to mount. It is sturdy and is easy to store on account of its compact size. My only complaint is the battery life. The advertised battery life is between 9 and 16 hours depending on brightness, and real-world use is definitely not that long. It lasts only about four or, at most, five hours at full brightness. However, most flashlights in this price range and brightness offer similar battery life in real-world testing, so this flashlight is not deficient in that regard. I just wish that the advertising was more accurate. I am also sad that the price of this flashlight just went up $10 after I bought it, so if I want another one, it will be more expensive. Even so, it's a great flashlight. You will be pleased with it.

I Highly recommend this Klein light. I received it as a Christmas gift from my daughter in 2022 and it’s been one of my most used and most favorite tools! The light is very bright and the magnetic handle is very handy for attaching the light for use. I like to stick it onto my metal ammo box of go-to tools, so it always goes! It’s a VERY durable light! I lost this light at our land one night after using it. It wasn’t found until the next season, having been exposed outdoors in rain, snow, beaming sunshine and a lot of equipment traffic from a house demo! When I found it, I really didn’t think it would still operate after being in the weather for so long. Although quite stained from its time outdoors in the wild, I gave it a chance with a charge. To my surprise, it turned on and worked like a champ! I’m still using it as of today and it survived another mishap of falling into a pail of used tractor hydraulic fluid for a brief moment! Thankfully it survived again and is still with me!

This by far the best small work light I've ever used. I work in technology closests that are often dim if not completely dark. This light will last all day on low and most of the day on high. It's incredibly bright, extremely versatile, and very well made. I highly recommend it.

Perfect flashlight for my work. Would highly recommend if you work on equipment, machinery, cars, PLC cabinets. The magnet works great, the swivel works perfectly, and the clip comes in handy. The battery lasts a long time and it recharges quickly. I love this flashlight so much I’ve bought 3!

This is one of the best lights I have in my tool bag. It gets used on a daily basis and hasn't let me down once. Build quality is exceptional. It feels high quality in the hand and can withstand drops from pretty high up. The orange edges are made of a grippy textured rubber material so it doesn't easily fall out of the hand. The swivel stand (doubles as a carabiner too, which is awesome), seems to be made out of metal and does not feel cheap at all. The LED's are very bright and are more than enough to light up a small room. The light can be magnetically attached to different metallic surfaces (like your car hood for example). The light head swivels horizontally and vertically, making it very versatile. One of the coolest features is the glow ring around the LED array. This makes it super helpful if one dies and you're trying to find it in the dark. The beam pattern is very wide, and sometimes when I'm working in a homeowner's crawlspace, I'll setup 2-3 of these little guys, and I have more than enough light spread across the entire workspace. I can easily get 7-8 hours of runtime on max brightness and still have some juice left over. They have a nice LED charging/status indicator on the side and you can tell how much battery life is left from a good distance away. I don't use this feature, but it can be used as an external battery pack if you're in a pinch. To some people, that'll be useful and is a nice added touch. My only gripe with this light is that it is using Micro-USB to charge. It's 2023 and we're still stuck on that?? C'mon Klein! Very nit-picky I know, but I had to find something and no product is every perfect. Overall, Klein Tools knocked it out of the park with this little work light. I always recommend this thing to my trades and coworkers because of how versatile it is. Well done guys, 10/10!!

Thank you, thank you, thank you to the designer who finally asked, "Do consumers really want a strobe function on a work light?" I have several other lights and for whatever reason, all of them have an ultra-annoying strobe feature. You've got to be careful with the switch or you'll accidentally turn on the disco strobe mode. Now, if I planned to keep this light in my car, I might appreciate a strobe light for safety if broken down by the side of dark road. But within the relatively safe confines of my garage and driveway? No thank you, please delete this feature, and finally somebody has. I knocked off one star due to the packaging. It came in an indestructible bubble pack, and had to be carefully cut open. Now if the packaging designers would ask what do consumers really want... Don't let this minor criticism deter you. This is a fantastic work light. Edit, several years later: This light continues to work well, but I've noticed an issue you may want to consider. I primarily use this light working on my vehicles, and generally use the magnet to hold the light in place. Although the magnet is plenty strong, it's situated in the middle of the base and will not stick to a concave surface. It grabs well under the relatively flat hood of my truck, but my car is a different story due to the curvature everywhere. Once again, it works great on a flat surface, such as on a household breaker panel. But if the curvature of the work surface prevents the magnet from making contact, then not so much.

This light is a solid choice for all kinds of scenarios. It's become my instant favorite. Very good battery life, excellent output, and what separates it from competition is the base flips all the way around AND the light swivels on the base in basically any direction. The magnet is plenty strong. I find myself using it at every opportunity. The only 1 negative thing about it, is it charges by micro USB which is a very outdated port. I actually had to buy a 10ft micro USB cable for this light (it comes with a 6 inch cable) cause all my devices are usb c. So while that is a step back in time, it's a minor flaw with an otherwise amazing light. I took my time searching for the best most practical work light. Don't hesitate, grab it, totally worth it.

This is a versatile and impressive work light. Its bright enough without being dazzling, and ideal for close working or in confined spaces. Lots of options for hanging or attaching, and rotates fully. Yes there are much cheaper alternatives but this is a quality item and won't dissapoint. Only slightly negative comment is there doesn't seem to be much difference in brightness between high and low setting.
