This stuff is pretty amazing. I ordered a TON of stuff to deal with a severe second degree burn I got on my arm from a hot baking pan. The wound got infected and I had to go antibiotics and everything. Nothing was healing the wound and I was having a hard time with that slough material that kept developing (necrotic tissue that forms in the wound bed and has to be debrided for the wound to heal. I tried all kinds of things but found this product healed the wound faster than anything else I tried. It also didn't stick to the wound when I would change out the dressing like most other things I tried. It's a bit messy to work with (it's really saturated), but I will always keep these on hand if I get burned again. It not only sped up the healing but it was extremely cooling and soothing to the wound. If I could only have one thing on hand for burns, this would be it.

Purchased for emergency medical bag. A few short weeks post purchase I burnt my right hand thoroughly with boiling water (steam from large pot). I had huge blisters form on outside of hand on thumb and near back to wrist, pointer and the middle finger within 60 seconds of burn. The pain was excruciating. Shock symptoms were present but I finally processed and dumped my medical bag and my 10 year old opened the burn product as my 4 year old cried. I'm not kidding this SAVED my hand. The pain became manageable and I wrapped my hand with the product for 12 hours then cleaned it and no infection and blisters all healed ( while covered) within 48 hours. Covid19 outbreak makes the only hospital in 3 hour radius no longer an option. Im so glad I had this product, thank you!

I got a burn from the lip and side of a hot pan hitting my arm. Nearly all the skin came off, so 2nd degree burn. None of the OTC silver gels were relieving the pain. Anything with lidocaine just hurt. Then, when I tried this, it felt like all of the heat and pain was replaced by a cooling layer of gel. I was pain free for an hour or so and then needed to keep doing wound maintenance, and I could finally sleep comfortably. By the next day, I already had a lot of skin closing the wound. I will now keep this stuff in my first aid kit and bring it camping. This stuff is awesome. I’m not a doctor, but this worked for me. I highly recommend it for burns and wounds.

We never want to be without this product. We have applied this sponge and gel on a burn, also stuck a burnt finger from cooking, inside the package and left sponge and gel inside and this takes care of our burns, many times within a short time. Great stuff.

I bought these to keep in my first aid kit while camping. The package seems to be good quality and they seem like they will work like they should. I have not had to misfortune to use them yet

I purchased these burn shields for our company's First Aid kits without knowing how well they worked until I burned myself while ironing my work pants. I didn't realize how bad my burn was until I came to work, so I wanted to see if these pads worked. I applied the pad to the top of my burn, then wrapped the area in gauze, leaving it on for most of the day. The pad cooled the burn area, but I didn't feel the pain of the burn all day when I removed the gauze at the end of the day; the moist burn pad was dry, and my wound was able to heal the rest of the day and night on its own and without any pain or problems. We always recommend seeing medical advice for more severe burns, but this pad worked for quick iron burns.

Bought these on a whim to have “just in case.” 2 days after receiving them my husband forgot that the stainless steel pan had come out of the oven and badly burnt his hand. We were able to put one patch on immediately, which helped with the pain. He kept his hand elevated, took some ibuprofen, and we changed to a new patch before bed. The first picture was taken 18 hours after he was burnt. The second picture was 38 hours after. The pictures alone speak for themselves. If you’re on the fence, BUY THESE. We used 2 patches, a total of $6; who knows where we would be without them. Worth every penny!

Great product. Have used it before with great results. Will definitely recommend for burns. Even for kids. It shows instant relieve when applied on burns.

I scalded my hand removing sth from the microwave. I knew straight away it was quite a nasty scald, so I ran it under the cold tap. Then I remembered we had this gel pack. I stopped the tap, and tore the top off the pack. Inside there is a bandage impregnated with gel. If I'd hurt an arm or a leg I'd have taken the bandage out, but as I'd hurt my fingers I just put my hand in the bag. It was now about 5 mins since the scald happened, and my fingers were just starting to hurt. But the pain stopped as soon as I put them in the gel. It was extremely cool and soothing. Also, when you're stuck by a tap you can't do much, and it's tempting to stop and hope the burn will be ok. But with my hand in the bag I could leave it there and do other stuff, so I kept it on for about 20 minutes. I was amazed when I took my hand out. The pain had stopped, and I had no visible burn and no blister, then or later. The scald was quite a bad one, so I was very impressed. It happened at work, so I immediately ordered some of these bags for my own kitchen.
