Quality and tight fit = A+
Nice quality and great compression fit. It has tags but they are the tear off kind, so they are completely gone once you tear them off. Otherwise, very snug compression fit and nice soft material. Love them as an undershirt for a uniform.

Great shirt
Absolutely love these shirts, I’ve ordered 3 so far, they have just the perfect amount of compression, where they hold tight to the body but still look like a normal shirt and not like I’m wearing shape wear that should only be worn underneath a shirt. Great for working out or just wearing with a pair of jeans around town.

wind) and it felt great. This is a compression shirt and so it ...
This T-shirt did exactly what it had to do. I used it in an obstacle race (sand, mud, stones, barbwire, sun, wind) and it felt great. This is a compression shirt and so it is tight, it is designed to be tight and hold your muscles as a second skin. Of course it got wet, but it did not absorb as much water as a cotton t-shirt; mud was almost imperceptible and so it didn't hardened when it dried. The material is really good; I went trough the entire race and by the end I only found two little holes at the bottom and probably from the barbwire. Remember that I had to crawl on rocks and mud for a while and this T-shirt still looks like new. I have also used this T-shirt for my usual training at the gym and it feels great too. One precaution, I usually use my sleeves to dry my face, but you cannot do this with this shirt as the entire surface area of the T-shirt is going to be moist during training (I run a lot on a treadmill). Remember, it is trying to get rid of your sweat as quickly as possible and is skin tight so no part of it is fully dry if you sweat a lot and there is no breeze. As such, it will keep you fresh as that is one of the roles of sweating, getting rid of the extra heat by evaporation. It is not completely smell-proof, but it is greatly, greatly reduced. I mean, you will smell something only if you put the T-shirt on your nose after you finished your training, but apart from that you won't even notice it. I have worn this T-shirt even when wearing suits and it feels great now that we are approaching summer. It is long, so it will go below your waist line and probably roll up a bit, but it didn't really bother me. I usually wash it by hand and it seems to be Ok, in that way I get rid of the sweat as soon as possible. I hope this helps.

Good fit, but seams will chafe
I'm 5'10, 230# actively losing weight. However, I needed something to firm up the belly fat until my fitness program takes care of it. I bought this Under Armour Compression Shirt to be worn under my dress shirt and it's worked out well. I bought an XL size like I normally would with undershirts and the compression factor is firm enough to keep the gut in check while being comfortable enough to wear all day. I wash them in a regular load with my other clothes and dry them on medium heat, and they've held up very well. I now own 5 of these to get me through the week. One caveat as mentioned in my headline, the interior seam edges will chafe you due to the shirt's designed snug fit. This has been a problem for me under my armpit, and as another reviewer mentioned the workaround is to wear the shirt inside out. Since I wear this under my dress clothing it's not a deal breaker.

Top-Tier Comfort and Performance – A Must-Have Base Layer
The Under Armour Men’s HeatGear Tactical V-Neck has quickly become one of my go-to base layers for everything from workouts and outdoor activities to everyday wear. I’ve been using it for a few months now, and it continues to impress in every way. Fit and Comfort: The fit is excellent — form-fitting without being restrictive. It hugs the body just enough to function well as a base layer but still allows full freedom of movement. The V-neck is a great touch, especially for layering under uniforms or button-ups where you don’t want the neckline to show. The fabric is lightweight, ultra-soft, and has that signature Under Armour smooth feel that’s comfortable even for all-day wear. Moisture-Wicking and Breathability: This shirt truly lives up to the HeatGear name. It does an outstanding job of wicking away sweat and keeping me cool and dry, even during high-intensity training or hot summer days. The breathability is top-notch — no overheating or clammy feeling, even under heavy gear or multiple layers. Durability and Quality: The quality is what you’d expect from Under Armour: solid stitching, strong seams, and material that holds up well over time. I’ve washed it many times, and there’s been no fading, stretching, or deterioration. It still looks and performs like new. This shirt can definitely take a beating and keep going. Tactical and Versatile: Whether you're wearing it as part of a uniform, for workouts, outdoor adventures, or just as a super comfortable undershirt, this V-neck delivers. It’s especially great if you’re in law enforcement, military, or security roles — the low-profile, non-logoed tactical version makes it ideal for professional use. Final Thoughts: If you’re looking for a high-performance V-neck base layer that offers comfort, breathability, and a tactical look, the Under Armour HeatGear Tactical V-Neck is hard to beat. I’ve already picked up a few more and plan to rotate them into my daily wear. Highly recommended for anyone who needs reliable gear that performs.

Excellent Compression Shirt
I've been using this compression shirt for a while now and it’s one of the best I’ve tried. I have four of them in black and white, and they’ve become a staple in my workout and everyday wear. The fit is snug without being restrictive, and the material is breathable and durable. It holds up well after multiple washes with no loss in compression or shape. Great for layering or wearing on its own. Highly recommended if you're looking for quality and consistency!

Warning Label?
I normally wear medium shirts and bought the compression as a medium. When I play basketball in this I feel like the compression does makes your muscles including your heart and lungs work a little harder and also when you sweat the material does somehow keep the sweat away from your body. So basically you’re exercising and it doesn’t feel like you sweat. I’ve also tried wearing it as a normal undershirt because yes it can help to correct your posture. With that said I do believe that the public may need more warnings about compression wear. I’ve done cardio exercises for many years and when the workout ends only while wearing compression do I feel extra extra dizzy. I’ve been unable to immediately shower because I just need to lay down for an hour or more and drank fluids. I’m not a doctor but do believe the compression wear is the cause of my body having those panic attacks. I now know that compression wear causes drastic changes in your body’s temperature and it does breathing more difficult. At this time I only use compression wear for weight based exercises. I don’t do cardio exercises while wearing compression but if I did it would be very brief maybe 15 minutes max and then change into a normal t shirt to finish. Although this can help with correcting your posture it should not be worn for an entire day. If you do I recommend you not eating while wearing compression shirt because to digest food properly after meals your stomach needs to expand. It is painful having to poop meals that are not fully digested. In the near future I think I may have to purchase a large even though I normally wear medium in everything else because it might be too tight in the abdominal area. So to sum everything if you never tried compression shirts before and normally wear a medium buy the Under Armour brand but only 1 medium and a 1 large and be careful these things can be dangerous.
