Duct tape's fancier, more sophisticated cousin
I had some scaffolders who obviously had a side line as tap dancers. Let's just say, they were more enthusiastic than graceful. The result? A roof that looked like a tile jigsaw puzzle gone wrong. Enter this Everbuild EB25 Sealant, my unexpected hero in a tube. I was skeptical at first – could this gooey savior really patch up my Swiss cheese roof? Spoiler alert: it totally did. This stuff should come with a cape because it's nothing short of superhero material. I went around gluing back the broken tiles like a DIY wizard, and guess what? Not a single drop of water has dared to sneak through since. It's like I told the rain, "You shall not pass!" and it actually listened. While I'm waiting to get the roof fixed properly (because, let's be honest, my sealant skills are more MacGyver than master builder), the Everbuild EB25 is holding the fort like a champ. It's so strong, I'm half-tempted to just leave it and call it a day. So, if you've got a roof that's seen better days, or some overzealous scaffolders turn your home into a DIY disaster zone, grab a tube of this magic sealant. It's like duct tape's fancier, more sophisticated cousin – but for roofs. Just slap it on and watch the magic happen!

It works
This stuff really works. This is a top notch sealant ideal for sealing around windows doors etc. I've even used it to fill small cracks in rendering before painting.

Doesn't stick plastic car trim that well
Not as expected but it's done a job. I used to glue down some plastic trim on my car that had broken it's clip but it didn't adhere that quickly even after 30 minutes it was still tacky so not as I hoped. Today the weather was fine and 16 degrees, not bad for uk

Very efficient stuff
I had a concrete window sill that had a number of cracks in it. I had a similar issue previously and ended up having to cast a new sill. I was willing to spend a few quid in the hope that it would save me the hassle of having to cast another bit of sill. It's thick stuff and my mastic gun had to work hard but my window sill is as sound as a pound. Rock solid and after a lick of paint you can't tell it was previously a mess. Not very cheap but it works and it saved me a lot of work.

It's very very very sticky
Great adhesion properties as well as being a flexible sealant and setting underwater. I used it to attach a carbon fibre boot spoiler among other stick and seal projects. Careful application is important as it gets everywhere, and leveraging its adhesive qualities needs an extended time for the sealant to dry. Regarding the spoiler, I clamped it in place for 24 hours. Getting it off yourself, if you are as cack-handed as me and forget to wear gloves, is a challenge best met by the careful application of acetone - take all appropriate precautions when applying and cleaning up, as nothing but acetone seems to touch it.

Didn't work well, was probably too old
I purchased this on March 2024 and opened it in April. It was very thick and my plastic sealant gun wouldn't extrude it. I purchased a heavy duty metal sealant gun and that did extrude it. It appeared to stick to the parts to be glued, but after several hours it showed no signs of skinning over or hardening. By next morning it had got a bit more solid, but I considered it untrustworthy; so I purchased a tube of a sealant with a similar specification locally to finish the job. That one extruded much more easily. The original tube had a manufacturing date of March 2022 stamped on it and the shelf life quoted on the tube is 12 months. So I guess the seller had stored it for too long. My advice: if when you receive it more than a few months has passed since the manufacturing date, send it back.

Clear but glossy cures very slow
So i used it as a sealer and as an adhesive alsp for 1 project, several things to mention It cures very slow, if you apply 3 mm thick, atleast it needs 3 day, and because it contains polyurethane i think the final strenght is weeks later to come. That is mean as an adhesive its not to good choice but even if you use it as a sealer if the object has some very slight movements, you have to wait days before it is ready for that. Despite they say food safe etc, i dont know about that, but it has a very strong chemical smell 5 days later, just as when it was freshly applied. Comes out very slowly, as it is thick(even if it is soft ones come out) so for bigger projects maybe not the best, but it doesnt dries that fast so you have some time to work with it. But it is really not comfortable to wait ages until it comes out and push. It is really clear, but glossy, so at some degreebloses the point that it is clear as at from many angles if you look at shines a lot. So it not bad imo, but neither better than 3 stars, there are easier to use product for less money. Update, 1 week later despite the ec1 certification still has a very strong chemical smell. Nothing as good as the CT1, i really regret buying this, i cant breath in my room
