I've done that for years. Is this somehow better?** A: Either one is probably OK. I like this strap because it’s Velcro and tightens real easy. With a bungee cord you have to pull on it to tighten and at times it might slip and snap right in your face. Just my thoughts. **Q: It says don’t use in the sun because the gel will melt. how am i supposed to not use them in the sun?** A: Unless exposed to the sun for a very long time, there is no problem. Thanks for your question. **Q: Is this okay for bikes with fenders?** A: There should be no problem, the gel will play a good anti-skid and fixed, once you fix it, it will not move, will not cause trouble to the fender. The only worry is that if the fender is wider and one strap may not long enough, you need to connect two of them. Thank you for your question. **Q: Will this fit a fat tire bike 4 inch tires?** A: Yes, if the length of one strap does not meet your needs, you can connect the two together, but you may need to use 4 straps meet two tires. Thanks for your question. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Quality Strap. Responsive Service. *by E***A on October 5, 2026* An acquaintance passed an Epessa strap to us a year or two ago. Good strap. They’re well-made, durable, and do a great job keeping my front wheel securely in place during transport. The added grip with the gel lining is a nice touch—it really helps prevent any shifting. A simple but effective accessory that adds real value. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good straps, but too small for my ebike *by A***N on June 6, 2024* I like to strap my front tire to the frame to make mounting the bike on the rack easier. They are good straps, but too short for my extra-large TREK Allant e-bike. Still find other uses for them. ## Frequently Bought Together - Epessa Bike Rack Strap Bike Wheel Stabilizer Straps, Bike Strap with Stonger Gel Grip, Adjustable Bicycle Wheel Strap, Bike Tie Down Straps, Bike Straps for Rack - Allen Sports Deluxe 2-Bike Trunk Mount Rack, Model 102DN-R, Black - Car Scratch Protector for Trunk Bike Rack, Anti-Scratch Anti-Collision Non-Slip Silicone Pads, Car Paint Protective Pads Car Tire Pattern Non-Slip, Bike Car Rack Accessories(8 Pack) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.is/products/153591577-bike-rack-strap](https://www.desertcart.is/products/153591577-bike-rack-strap) --- *Product available on Desertcart Iceland* *Store origin: IS* *Last updated: 2026-10-19*
