I bought these to use to hook one end to my dog’s harnesses and secure the other end to an anchor point in the back of my car, to keep the dogs from jumping out when I have the top down. I looked into the fabric tethers made specifically for that purpose, but I have power chewers so I needed something they couldn’t chew through. This worked perfectly. Each dog was able to move around comfortably but were restrained so there was no chance they could get out of the car. I also bought locking carabiners so they couldn’t accidentally unhook themselves, which they’ve been known to do. Dogs are a 40 lb pitbull/plott hound mix and a 25 lb terrier that looks like a miniature Rottweiler with long legs.

Use them on stage with my moving heads. Confident they would hold if called to do so.

Never saddle a dead horse. These cables are not well made at all. The carabiner is made of zinc, not steel. They are crimped improperly. I am extremely disappointed. They all snapped while we were using them in the theater today and very nearly caused an accident that could have easily injured quite a few people. I'm LIVID. How can they sell such a poorly made product? Anyone with knowledge in staging and rigging should know that these are AWFUL cables. At the very least I hope to get a refund.
